DIY LOD ( line out dock ) Step by step guide. For iPod iPhone.

Are you aware of the method to make a line out dock for a sansa fuze? Because i know that the standard i pod cable is not compatable but there must be a way. Is it just a different resistor? Cant find answers to this question anywhere, if you could help i would greatly appreciate it. There is also a marcket of a good amout of people searching for these.

@iulik17d it is needed for it to be able to work with all iPods/iPhones, when you ad the resister it makes the iDevice belive the LOD is made for Aplle so lets it be used, without it, it wont work if that makes any sense.

@iulik17d Yes but it will not work with most other models so it is best to put a resistor in so you are sure it will work with all of them.

@kosuke0420 Have you tried doing it with a camcorder in front of youre face on a stand with youre hands on either side? have a look on my head-fi album under the user name parrots to see how my work looks when i aint got a camera in my face and i bet yours will be one ugly piece of crap compared to what i can do.

Wow Matt, the video was brilliant. Nice close ups and editing. Your instructions were crystal clear. Loved the parrot in the background too. Still can't imagine how you did most of it on camera. Anyway, great vid and I enjoyed watching.

p.s. a bright lamp or white/black background might have helped with the auto focusing
