I'm surprised that the "four family contract" didn't take a more conventional Fire-Earth-Air-Water theme. Aside from Fire, all the sacrificial methods match the "4 elements" theme; the Fitch family could just sacrifice via burning instead.

hmm I wonder who took the time solve that prison puzzle on their own... lol I meanI kinda got the symbols on the wall,... but didn't know it had to be facing it opposite instead of infront of it...

and find the symbols for law enforcement and mayor was not really that clear lol

even when the symbols locked some of the outer ring symbols were confusing xD

the whole point was that the founders had to kill one of their children. alex was gone when it came time to do the sacrifice and shepard refused to kill his favorite son. thats where things went wrong, and thats why he gave the ring to josh and not alex, because he thought alex would have been sacrificed.

Alex killed Josh. That was the "accident" that made him end up in the mental hospital. Josh died in the lake bordering Shepherd's Glen and Silent Hill, so the death counted as a sacrifice, but Josh was never meant to be the one to die.

@zozombies actually the death of Josh didnt count as sacrifice.

thats the reason the so called Silent Hill "curse" came to Shepherds Glen.

and yes Alex was meant to be the sacrifice not Josh.
