This reminded me of the one on one fights you get into in kingdom hearts. Ya know like when Sora has to fight riku or when ventus fights captain hook?

no, ellen has been assisting the faery lord to make people remember the netherworld. Livane is a former messanger who rebelled against the lord and made humans forget the realms so society wouldn't decay. If what happens after death is known we have nothing to live for.
This was a great game. The aesthetic style is very artistic, maybe one of the most artistic I've seen in a game -- kinda like Okami, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus and Bioshock. The story was awesome also. My only major complaint with it was going through pretty much the same levels and fighting basically the same bosses with both characters, but it was still great despite that.
i cant even get to her! help!!! i mean, i have to defeat all those stupid folks in the palace of memory, and if i try i do get to her, but then im so drained i cant concentrate to fighting her =( i tried to get to her with keats, its even harder with protea and protta whtever i hate all bird folks =D
I'm having the same problem with Keats dyin all the time with those flying protea protta IDs, i'm like surrounded with ice, durandal and urisk is too slow and consumes too much mp.so it the flaming ball throwing dude...for ellen beating that bitch livane is hard, those flying iceholes or fireholes are annoying..

why didnt you attack her with the hermit crab looking monster? you could spit sticky liquid at her when the armour breaks, to inflict high damage.

You're supposed to use bond attacks when her shields are down to increase the time you can attack her.
