That's what I am viewing and hearing...don't one want to know about the feelings of our younger generations? For they are speaking their thoughts through Chaka, how blessed we are to have three beauties in shrined! @WEEZERman1212 That doesn't mean that that white people are not wellcome, it just means that that theatre is focused on the black culture which is important when the central media is mostly owned by white people and have to show things that represents all of the USA thus wouldn't be able to satisfy the black community because of under representation of the black culture. That is what these specified places patch up.

Chaka may have been as high as an albatross, but she KILLED that improv! The combination of these performers produced an explosion of musical brilliance. So brief, but so great. Four very different artists---BB King-- Blues Royalty and musical genius; Gladys Knight--cute, polished, soulful but always a lady; Chaka-- searing, volcanic and freewheeling, and Etta James-- a godmother of R&B, earthy and full of salt. Ahh, to have been in that audience!

I;ve just come to this from listening to Etta James early recordings and back behind that, Adele. Adele;s the only singer who can stand shoulder.All the xfactor and BGT stuff, american dreamz is amateur night by comparison.

I have the original VHS release of this show and all I can say is it was definitely history in making. Chaka Khan in her worst state of mind can sing circles around singers of today. And of course Gladys Knight always sound like a record on point! And Etta James it really don't get any better than these three singers.
