  • smoootthhhh i want.

  • @airflowskateboards do u get wheelbite?

  • @mrdtemptation - of course not. We're using CAD programs to set boundaries for board shapes so we exactly know which wheels fit. And anything bigger than 83mm doesn't make that much sence anyways........

  • @airflowskateboards are they smooth and do they hold speed

  • @mrdtemptation yes!

  • magun trucks?

  • @lufando : SURE!

  • @1:34 I was hoping to see martin drop a hand but no, you won't see these wheels sliding.

  • @coolk1d Well they are 74a...

  • I'm going to Malaysia with a long board.

  • @TheKyleofTP cool story bro

  • @Niccr14 He said my story was cool and he called me bro!! It was filmed in Malaysia, hence why I said that.

  • i like how he looses the folllowing cars

  • you must have a very strong forearm !!! or maybe the camera is very light

  • @jeminuz .... both!

  • dawww i bought those wheels but they bite on my landyachtz dropspeed and iam sad :(

  • @SickShredProductions LOL dude thats funny, sucks though cuz you spent 70 dollars on them

  • @SickShredProductions 1 inch risers ftw?

  • I couldn't handle all those cars passing me.

  • anyone from the igsa using a mongo stance?

  • why should I get wheelbite?

  • you must get wheel bite like a muuhh

  • classic centrax?!

  • @SBSlongboarding

reflex as far as I know, they were prototypes...

  • @SBSlongboarding they have them now!

  • @SBSlongboarding Definitely Reflex because abec thane goes in threes so 74a, 77a, 80a, 83a, etc, whereas classic goes 72a(a long time ago), 75a, 78a, etc

  • What the hell is he holding on to?

  • @badtricktips

I'm holding onto a skipole with a camera mounted at the end you can't see

  • @badtricktips DUH?

  • @badtricktips he is holding onto a camera guy who is strapped to a stick

  • It looks like he's riding without his pucks

  • @GnarthwestBoarders

no need for slidepucks on that road :-)

  • centrax are grip wheels so footbrake the exact amount will be key. good luck

  • I have 2 questions, would these fit/work on an evo? and if I do put them on my evo would the idea be airbreak or footbreak if needed and try to grip every corner? This is a no-slide wheel right?

  • Hey The50carter that was my follow car to keep the road clear behind me! It would still be really difficult to follow.....

  • Anyone notice there was a car behind him in the start of the video and by the end... there was no car...

  • Comment removed

  • they would definitely work on a Airflow Fuse!

  • Would these work for nemesis 2011 without wheel bite?

  • Whats the fastest speed he recorded here ?

  • @Longboardmaestro ... about 85km/h and an average above 65km/h

  • One question:

Ihave a Rayne Demonseed with these same trucks Gunmetal Magnum Double-Barrel 42º baseplate, if i put some Abec 11 Centrax 83mm 80a(green ones) would it work with no wheelbite even with medium venom DH bushings (90a boardside and 87 a roadside and for some dh and longtreks ???

PS: i will need to slide a bit in low speeds like 15mph/h, would it work?

Thanks... and sorry by the second question...

  • @AlexTheGodfeller ... hey these are Magun trucks! This is something different. Slide 83mm centrax? That's a stupid idea. Why would you waste these monsters sliding....

  • @airflowskateboards srry then, only if i had to brake on the moment... or 5 feet before crashing into something...

    Thanks...

  • would this go good with landyachtz switchblade or evo?

  • @chilldude56 it will be good for the evo, cause it will have 0 wheel bite at alll and for the switch blade it will totally have a wheel bite!. :D

  • @radicaldude881 thx for the info bro! so would u reccomend the 77mm? or is that still a bit too big?

  • @chilldude567 if you want a comfortable and smoother ride go with the 77m but if you wan to slide a bit you can go with the 80a :D. but i would really reccommend venom cannibals they are really good wheels check them out :)

  • just the contact patch on those wheels is bigger than the diameter of my wheels. 78mm contact patch... WOW

  • @essenceofcool i think they're 68mm actually, but yeh, the are ENORMOUS :)

  • idk how u coul slow down quickly if u had to.

  • @waverippa97 : you don't have to slow down quickly if you look ahead!

  • @waverippa97 speed check slides? gotta learn those before you can safely go faster than foot-pushing speeds...

  • would the centrax go good with the landyachts wolf shark?

  • filming was boss

  • damn, hauling ass

  • cool story, bro

  • airflow martin siegrist promodel proto, magun trucks, abec11 83mm centrax prototype wheels

  • @airflowskateboards

    i want some

  • what's the setup?

  • TOPMOUNTS!

  • @dabraca >>> drop through

  • @dabraca But....its...not a topmount.

  • that was scary and i wasnt even on the board

  • i freakin love that tuck

  • that car behind him got pwnd

  • As grippy as those wheels are, I don't feel that run demanded that much grip from the wheels.

A good topmount and any good lipped DH wheel could have made that run just as well.

Show me some gnarly ass sweepers and then I might be impressed by the wheels, cause that run was all martin.

  • @Gahu1: what's your problem?

  • @airflowskateboards

I dont think he really has a problem, or is trying offend.

I, too, would love to see some rather extreme demonstration of just how grippy these wheels are. I dont know if this run demonstrated the full potential of these wheels or not, as DH videos tend to make things look more 'mellow': on camera hills look less steep and turns less agressive.

How do you feel about these wheels? Do they live up to the hype? Love your vids, cheers!

  • @BlueyFromMelbShuffle

Centrax are really nice to have on rougher pavement - However, it's difficult to see how rough this road is. All I can say, it's far from perfect, otherwise you'd see me riding flywheels. The grip you get with centrax is amazing, there's no need to put a hand out in case you slide out cause there's basically no sliding out until a certain point. A run on flywheels is definitely more sketchy and in the end it is slower.

  • It might look mellow, but then again anything which is done in control looks mellow and easy. I'm carrying a camera and it's an open road so this run is not full potential. Centrax do make a big difference on certain roads and this is one of them. Maybe have a look at some pro climbing videos... how easy and mellow does it look and how difficult is it when YOU try the route/boulder?

  • @airflowskateboards

Exactly, internet makes everything look easy, especially if the subject knows what he's doing. Thanks a ton for the info & reply, have a nice christmas.

  • @Gahu1 Really? You MUST be a dumbass.

  • thank you for the shoot!!

  • those would be quite fun on gmr

  • they are great wheel i ride it my self nt on prototype hell yeah is stick did few runs wit martin too, Stoked!! im surelly gonna order more of this coz im a fan of green

  • they look fucked

  • seen the prototype Centrax full of holes for water displacement? kinda cool, but rocks probably get stuck in the holes :(

  • @lilchik34 there are a few places that still have the 77s, but these are protos of the new 83 mm, and we can't get our hands on em for a few more weeks.

  • so theyre 83mm....how wide is the contact patch?
