  • Good stuff!

  • very nice

  • Nicely DOne...

  • i just saw these guys in romney WV it was awsome

  • IMPRESSIVE!!!

  • ive seen faster string changin by the guitar player for cherryholmes that dude is QUICK!

  • that string change is outstanding!! great tune as well!

  • That is a changing string Guinness record, f****** unbelievable!!!!

  • that's what you call getin it done

  • I so enjoy listening to you all sing, strum, pick, grin and all the rest. *****

  • Does anyone know who wrote this song and done it

  • Don't know about that, but there is a vid of Larry Sparks doing this song from the late 70's to early 80's it seems.

  • It was written by Cadillac Holmes.

  • That is awesome I have never seen a string changed that fast

  • This is a awesome song. Anybody know what key its in? I can't tell, and I'd love to play it.

  • B Chord

  • i tried, but it dosn't seem to fit

  • You're not tuned then, Go get the record and play it with them. Look at the video, they are capo'ed on the 4th fret. Our band does this tune all the time, I played it with the album the 1st 40 times and they are in B. its only a 2 chord song, capo the 4th fret and play G and C thats all it is. Trust me dude, its in B. Good luck.

  • I meant that it didn't seem to fit my own vocals when I tried.

  • haha oh dude, i didn't know! good luck finding your chord

  • haha "good luck finding your chord" lol thats funny...

  • I talked with Andy Ball last week about this video. He said this was the first time he had ever performed this song. Actually, this was only the 2nd show with Rickman back in the band as well as for Anglin in the band. They all had just learned the song about 20 minutes before the show because Sammy wanted to start doing it again. That's why these guys are PROS!!!

  • FIRST and foremost.. GET A LIFE. im sure you think youre so cool because you talked to andy ball...?? were not talking about hardcore celebrities here. these are down-to-earth guys that talk to anyone at their show. stop trying to act like your cool. AND SECOND>>> WTFF are you smoking? go back and read my comments idiot. i absolutely love LRB and 100% support them and what they do. so what exactly was your reply pertaining to. pleaseeee inform me retard i cant wait to hear.

  • Ummm... I just thought it was cool that these guys just learned the song right before this particular show. I never even read your comment. WOW. Get a grip dude. Life is good!

  • i think its great to know this info... just thinking about how they pulled this off.. even with rickman breaking a string and fixing it within the time it took for the breaks, just blows my mind.... and yes... these are hardcore celebrities. celebrities are people who are well known for what they do. angelina jolee is not a hardcore celebrity in bluegrass just as keith urban is not a celebrity in acting....

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG!!! And the album is GREAT too.....if you don't have it....GET IT!

  • thats when you know your good, I need to learn to be that fast at changing strings.

  • This group is tight! I have seen them 2 times in the past 2 months and they are 10 times better than the video gives them justice. These guys put on a GREAT show! Andy Ball is not pitchy...their new cd will kick your ass. Tell me that his voice is pitchy when you hear it...

  • no doubt, Ball is money. They've always been tight. Tyminski, Bowman, Rigsby, Sheller, Smith... blah blah..it goes on and on, they are one of the best in the business and have been for a while, no matter the line-up

  • Agreed!

  • his voice isn't pitchy cause auto tune 9000 was used in the studio.... i don't think he can play or sing anywhere close to tyminski but he can play better than rigsby

  • search videos posted this month for two new songs! LRB rules!

  • loved this vid I have had the pleasure of seeing lonesome river band perform the last 7 years at the MACC in ohio...I even had the great pleasure to have seen don rigsby with ....unbelieveable is all i can say their live shows rock...now with brandon being back they are outstanding once again...if you have not seen them live..you are missing a great show!!

  • Brandon never misses a beat while changing his string, he is amazing!

    :)

  • that was a quick string change and i love that music

  • bull crap! go see them live and youll change your mind! brandon's voice is the strongest in the buisness!!!

  • it's not bull crap when someone is simply stating their opinion. In the vid from '95 rigsby's singing lead on the verses ( and he's simply a more interesting singer than rickman. Andy Ball's kinda pitchy in this video, and the band just doesn't sound as tight as the line up from '95. It's certainly not an insult, but the truth.

  • haha.. veryyy sorry to disagree everyone has their opinion but im an avid contemporary bluegrass follower and ive seen alll these LRB bands spoken of.. and by far, last night, at the Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Festival in IN.. they put on one of the BEST shows Ive seen by them ever. Heres the thing, rigsby was too old timey and tinkery with his mando style, let alone his voice. his voice was good on certain songs, but a little of it goes a longgg way. rickman throws a new breed into the band..

  • Long live Brandon Rickman!

  • Comment removed

  • Andy is bending his notes to get the "bluesy" sound. When you hear the new record, you'll understand. He's not pitchy at all, I was there when the song was recorded.

  • Does your mommy know you are using those bad words? Good grief. It's bluegrass, ya'll, lets just get along here huh?

  • damn. this aint got the drive like the video from 1995. but dont get me wrong its good lol

  • This was i Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada and it ROCKED!!

  • haha that was so awsome. That dude is great. I listen to Metal and I dug that song, good stuff!

  • is this in fort fairfield, maine? if it was then i was there

  • Definately in Moncton, New Brunswick...

  • Wow! This is great music! Thanks for sharing it.

  • DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!

  • Son! Mash on LRB!
