Sesshomaru is 19 in human years and young men don't have fatherly instincts or feelings towards children who are not their biological children. They develop fatherly instincts only AFTER they become parents to their own biological children, not before. Sesshomaru never treats Rin like she's his daughter. Rin doesn't treat Sesshomaru like he's her father, either.

I get that InuYasha and Sesshoumaru's clothing (and others) is baggy, but I don't get why when they move, they draw it so that it looks like their legs are that huge, too. Like when Sesshoumaru is lying in the field, the cloth doesn't drape down his legs like something normal, it's just..... his leg...
Gawd, I love how Rin immediately touches something in Sesshomaru, even though he denies it from here to eternity. I always wondered what happened between this scene and the next. One scene she's a non-speaking urchin in rags, the next she's a cheerful, happy, and well-dressed girl.
I think Sesshomaru develops the most as a character throughout the series. In the beginning he appears as a cold blooded demon, but then he becomes more compassionate. Sesshomaru is a good example of an antihero. He is not exactly a good person but he's not evil either. I don't know why, but I like more antiheroes than regular heroes. Usually antihero has more interesting personality.
when i was little i didnt understand why they couldnt have rin meet sessh when she was older, but iv come to realise she had to be a little girl to make the story go the way it did. it was her innocent heart that wanted to help him if she was older common sense would of told her DEMON RUN, plus since she was so defensless and had no one sessh prob thought o well let her follow. now im glad she was little when she found him and there is still time for her to grow, and for love to blossom ;)
you know, when you think about it, Rin would never have met Sesshomaru if it weren't for Kagome. if Kags hadn't come back in time to the feudal era, Tetsusaiga wouldn't belong to Inu. She pulled the sword out in that one episode, remember? plus, Koga wouldn't have had the Shikon shards, so he wouldn't have killed Rin. plus, Tetsusaiga was the reason Rin met Sesshy in the first place. So, in the end, Kags made Sesshy save a human! ^.^

@BleachFan2007 Well I think initally it was tensaiga (aka his father desire) returning the favor as she had watched over Sesshomaru while he was down. He formed a mutual respect for her because she wasn't afraid of him, tried to help him, kept trying even though he told her he didn't need her help, got beat up because of him. Tensaiga realized she was special, was what Sesshomaru needed to learn to protect. Tensaiga sensed she would some day be his salvation, his chosen one. Awesome love story

Rin is naive and has a misconception that everyone is harmless and inable to kill or harm her. She was being chased by Koga's wolves and she was concerned with Sesshoumaru's saftey, rather than her own. She was running and thinking if he could help her, since he was the only one who didn't mistreat or abuse her. Rin prefers demon, than humans.

In the manga, she actually dumped water on him. I think it was to clean blood or something, but I was always disappointed that they didn't put it in the anime. Sesshomaru was really surprised in that scene. XD

Gawd, I love how Rin immediately touches something in Sesshomaru, even though he denies it from here to eternity. I always wondered what happened between this scene and the next. One scene she's a non-speaking urchin in rags, the next she's a cheerful, happy, and well-dressed girl.
Where'd he even get that cute checked kimono?

I think Sesshomaru develops the most as a character throughout the series. In the beginning he appears as a cold blooded demon, but then he becomes more compassionate. Sesshomaru is a good example of an antihero. He is not exactly a good person but he's not evil either. I don't know why, but I like more antiheroes than regular heroes. Usually antihero has more interesting personality.

when i was little i didnt understand why they couldnt have rin meet sessh when she was older, but iv come to realise she had to be a little girl to make the story go the way it did. it was her innocent heart that wanted to help him if she was older common sense would of told her DEMON RUN, plus since she was so defensless and had no one sessh prob thought o well let her follow. now im glad she was little when she found him and there is still time for her to grow, and for love to blossom ;)

you know, when you think about it, Rin would never have met Sesshomaru if it weren't for Kagome. if Kags hadn't come back in time to the feudal era, Tetsusaiga wouldn't belong to Inu. She pulled the sword out in that one episode, remember? plus, Koga wouldn't have had the Shikon shards, so he wouldn't have killed Rin. plus, Tetsusaiga was the reason Rin met Sesshy in the first place. So, in the end, Kags made Sesshy save a human! ^.^

@BleachFan2007 Well I think initally it was tensaiga (aka his father desire) returning the favor as she had watched over Sesshomaru while he was down. He formed a mutual respect for her because she wasn't afraid of him, tried to help him, kept trying even though he told her he didn't need her help, got beat up because of him. Tensaiga realized she was special, was what Sesshomaru needed to learn to protect. Tensaiga sensed she would some day be his salvation, his chosen one. Awesome love story

0:18 his cheek markings are red, 1:12 they are purple- I thought may they change color with his mood, but nope at 1:32 they are red again. Wtf? I'm doing a sesshy cosplay tomorrow, red and black eyeliner for the eyes, blue or purple liner for the moon mark, white wig, but for his cheeks do i use my red pencil? Or a purple one? Bleh i dont think anyone will care either way.

@catie124111 yeah. I mean, pretty much all the questions for the whole Inuyasha/Kagome/Kikyo thing has been answered, now it's Sesshy and Rin thats most confusing. Such as, what is Rin to him? Will she come back? What will he do when she dies? How long will she be with him? Will she fall in love with him? Is he going to find a way for her to live longer? Are they ever going to have kids? (Separately, I mean. He does need an heir, right?) How will Jaken react? Sorry, I'm ranting :P

@gangstaladie Rin was too innocent back than, she doesn't know what evil is. She wasn't even mad at those jerks when they yelled at her for stealing food. Rin is naive and has a misconception that everyone is harmless and inable to kill or harm her. She was being chased by Koga's wolves and she was concerned with Sesshoumaru's saftey, rather than her own. She was running and thinking if he could help her, since he was the only one who didn't mistreat or abuse her. Rin prefers demon, than humans.

@SiltoriNarutoandU Sesshoumaru's mother Tounga, asked Sesshoumaru why he had two humans accompaning him (Rin and Kohaku), she asked "Are you planning to eat them?" I don't know if Sesshoumaru gave up food or if he simply doesn't need to eat, because he ages slower than inuyasha. He's practically an immortal, all he cares about is killing shit. He feeds off other people's suffering and misery! Especially Inuyasha's so maybe that's why he doesn't eat? :P

In the manga, she actually dumped water on him. I think it was to clean blood or something, but I was always disappointed that they didn't put it in the anime. Sesshomaru was really surprised in that scene. XD
