  • Eddie what the fuck are you doing

  • I do respect Krusen because he recorded "Ten". But on live on stage.... he is not good as Abbruzzese for example...

And also his playing here is not smooth, check out transition at 1:07. Is he late on train that he raises tempo? )) SOrry for bad english, I'm ukrainian))

And I really love Abbruzzese drumming! :)

  • krusen is really good but is abbruzzese is too. and dave a. looks like he had a lot more fun than dave k. did

    I WANT EDDIES SHIRT.

  • LOL the crowd is acting all passive like: Who the fuck are those guys, they are acting like they are superstars!... Yes they will be!

  • Alice in Chains rocked Club With No Name all to hell in 91. Eddie's great but he's no Layne. Wish i coulda seen both shows.

  • So, who is the better artist; Klimt or Picasso? seems stupid to ask which is the «better» drummer. They all have interesting styles and they all served Pearl Jam well while they played with PJ. I personnaly like krusens solid grooves and thrashy feels on ten. I like abruzzese's tight metronome like style with nice cymbal swishes the RRLLR that comes often. I personnaliy think Cameron is soem kind of a new neil pert, yet very underated for his work.

  • Whats the last song?

  • @IveGotNothinToSay the boys are back in town

  • fuck that dave Abbruzzse

  • the first version of this song was played by Matt Cameron on drums. Don't forget this.

  • @gurripuyi ?????????? first version was played by Jack Irons in Mookie Blaylock (demo) lol!

  • @sliperuknot

No Matt Cameron was on the demos, Jack Irons was a good friend of the band members at that time.

  • @sliperuknot

It was actually Matt Cameron...Anyway Krusen does sound alot like Cameron though!...IMO

  • @gurripuyi actually it's the first version of alive that cameron played on.

  • wow .. i like this version, mcready plays nice funk ..

  • Dave Krusen ownes !!!!!!!!!! Best PJ drummer!

  • Dave Abbruzzese probably the Best Pearl Jam Drummer, Dave Krusen did more than a Fantastic job on Ten. Abbruzzese is the better man though.

  • @CBFHVP - you're damn right Krusen owns. definitely their best drummer. minimal fuss, solid groove...... Matt Cameron might be a technically better drummer, but Krusen was perfect for what Pearl Jam needed. that Abruzzesse bloke is over rated.

  • @Coldacre

Yep!...I didn't like the way DAVE A played alot of Pearl Jam songs...especially Even Flow!...too MANY Cymbals...too Much "FUSS" in the way he played!...and not sure how to describe it but too much of a "Stuttering" sort of feel where it should be 'Smooth' and 'Solid'... :)

  • @CBFHVP i respectively disagree...i think that Dave A was the best

  • @CBFHVP dave is the best... but krusen is better than cameron... waaaay better... even irons is better than cameron

  • One of the most original and inspirational drummers ever.

  • One of the most original and inspirational drummers ever.

  • Dave Krusen is THE SHIT! :D

  • out of all the albums i like the drumming on ten the best. i love the spaced out relaxed feeling on the album.

  • He actually did help manage the band I just did'nt knoe if he had played any drums.

  • Did'nt the drummer for Soundgarden manage both S. & P.J & layed some tracks on ten?

  • Nope! He never did. Ten was relead with Dave Krusen, thata guy playing here, then they had an episode with Matt Chamberlain, and then on two albums great Dave Abruzesse... Matt Cameron (their present drummer) was palying at the Temple Of The Dog album

  • I thought the original drummer that recorded ten was Jack Irons?

  • Eddie looks paranoid.

  • thnx for posting this.

  • no !

  • Is this where they recorded the Even Flow music Video?

  • No, they recorded that at the Moore Theater in Seattle.

  • no.

  • lol I actually now have the audio from the Moore.....this was almost a year ago

  • i was at this show...exxxplosive!

  • Wow!! I really envy you my friend!

  • They opened for Alice In Chains at this show, Imagine if they did a record together.

  • Check 'Temple Of The Dog' from 1991

  • I have been a fan of Temple of the Dog for a long time, they are prety good.

  • Not a single member of alice in chains was in temple of the dog. Get your shit straight before typing. Just being honest.

  • that's the real pearl jam and the real eddie... awesome stuff

  • Dayle gloria is really the queen of rock. she started it all!!!!!!!!

  • Dayle Gloria rules!!! coolest club promoter in the history of hollywood!

  • Anyone notice what is written on Eddie´s shirt?

    It´s PEARL!

I guess by that night they already knew what would be the next band name.

Another fact on Wikipedia: "In a 2006 Rolling Stone cover story Ament and McCready admitted that Ament came up with "Pearl", and that "Jam" was added after the band saw Neil Young live".

  • I think it's Pearl as in "Pearl Drums" but you may be right! Who knows....

Anyway, I found it, shit quality but Alice and then PJ, does it get any better????

  • Well it does looks like it was home made, and I never saw the Pearl drums logo written in a different way. Like you said, who knows... I guess only band members.

I´ll have to give a call to Eddie and ask him. ;)

  • Say hi from me!!! And tell him to get his arse to Italy and France!!! =)

  • @veddercinnamongirl Yes it is Pearl as in Pearl Drums.I'm a drummer & have played on & owned Pearl Drum kits before.

  • The crazyest thing I've ever heard about the band name was,one of their mothers,or them made homemade L.S.D. in like a strawberry jam called pearl jam. I think people who try to say something they don't even know about are crazy! From Pearl Jams rumor myths I guess?

  • I wonder if the crowd realized they were watching a band about to become bigger than life and the best singer songwriter in the last 40 years when they watched this show.

  • what's the song in the beginning?

  • wash.

  • thanks!

  • found on the b-side of the alive single...or LIMEWIRE

  • its a bonus track on the ten alumn thats sold in ireland maybe the rest of europe too....alive (live) wash and dirty frank. check it out

  • krusen rocks!! also in CandleBox...inspirational drummer...

  • We Love KRUSEN.... and Pearl Jam with Krusen!

Look at all the hair, boys.... sweeeeet!

  • oh shit! I was born that day:O Pearl jam<3

  • Me too but five years earlier. :)

  • Is this the same concert where Ed comes out and sings with Layne? Do you know how I can get this?

  • I really wish I could see that show. .they show a part of it on the musicbank dvd, but there's a song playing throughout the clips so you don't hear anything else.

  • It's out there, I have it...Look on torrents and things...You'll find it but it's pretty crappy quality!!! Good luck!

  • does his shirt say "PEARL"?

  • Eddie is so goofy

  • SIMPLEMENTE ... NOTABLEEEE ....

  • awesome video:))))))

  • Toda banda tem sua época!! Um crássiku!!!! hehehehehe

    muito foda eles!!

  • classic! thanks for posting this
