reading the "highest rated comment" i'm guessing he is reffering to the fact that greiner doesn't really move when he plays... but thats not really cause he's concentrating... he just just wants to keep his back straight.... he has pretty much the best posture in any drummer... ever :') he also wants to keep all the weight off of his ankles... so he can use them when he plays his pedals... that's what i think anyway... you dont really need to concetrate whne playing drums....

i think its because he is concentrating on his footwork. most metal drummers sometimes "enjoy" their music too much and start half bouncing around their kit and start missing beats. matt just wants to get the job done right.

I love all sorts of drumming just as much as the next person....and I think Matt is one of the best for this very reason.  Nearly EVERY fill has its own little flair button tacked on it. There's so many little things he does that make his playing stand out.

Joey is indeed one of the best drummers out there... but clearly there are better drummers. Matt Greiner, Mike Portnoy(Dream Theater), and Tomas Haake(Meshuggah) are some of the best drummers in modern day metal in my opinion.

there are many people saying that Chris Adler is better than matt.people say that chris is faster. But in my oppionion its not about how fast you are, its how well u play. and even if chris is faster (which he isnt) he doesnt use his china the way matt does. Alot of people bash matt because he is young. and they praise chris beccause he is older and more experienced. but for those people who say that. chris adler is good. but by the time matt is that age he will be much better.
