  • Luv this channel♥

  • BOOP!

  • Hi there... I am vegan & eat with no oil....have you tried using the oven instead of frying them? if so, did it work? thanks again and I am happy I find you! :)

  • @ronnyross I haven't tried it because the oil rapidly cooks them and keeps their shape. I would assume the oven would melt them into sloppy piles of goo.

  • It looks unkiller good!

  • I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! I'm a recent vegetarian and aspiring vegan and you're videos are great!

  • @MissRetailTherapy thanks and congratulations!

  • Oh my gush my stomach hurts from laughing at the end of this extremely gross but yummy video

  • You´re the vegan brother of the EpicMealtime Guy ^^ I like your beard (:

Got to get this cheese =D

  • quick-tip: i find it's a little less messy/easier if you use one hand for the soymilk dipping and one for the dry-dipping. no zombie fingers, haha. awesome recipe, your videos kick ass! (boop)

  • I am leaving home now to buy vegan cheese and breadcrumbs :)

Thank you for sharing your yummy recipe-*

  • @58narsis You're welcome, enjoy!

  • Those look soooo good...the problem in our area is that a bag of the Daiya is $6.00!!! That makes anything that requires more than a little handful a very expensive treat!! Thanks so much for the awesome recipes!

  • @Cidtalk Yeah, I think it's $5.29 here. You're welcome! :)

  • so good

  • How do you get your camera to float around with you like that?

  • I hope you say boop in every video. I lost it on the third one

  • @twizelby haha :)

  • dude cool tattoos you should just make a video about your fall themed tattooos

  • Mmmmmm looks so good! Does it matter what type of oil you use? Is there a slightly healthier way of doing ths or should I just indulge one day haha.

  • @soulfoodforinnerpeac you wanna use an oil suitable for deep frying... canola, vegetable and peanut oil are all good. Just indulge!

  • What kind of breadcrumbs and flour did you used in this recipe? I'm new to the vegan cooking.

    Thanks

  • @ESims48 We used the brand Edward&Sons breadcrumbs. Panko and Cornflakes have vegan breadcrumbs too. We used local grocery store white flour, which is unbleached.

  • @ZombieGate Thank you and I will be watching all of your videos.

  • Vegan Zombie - Y U so hot?

  • Try it wrapped in bacon! Yummy

  • I love watching u.. Ur funny! Thanks for sharing :-)

  • @siscantik Thanks ;) and you're welcome!

  • drool.... :P

  • I had wanted to try the Daiya cheese for the longest time now, & after I watched your video, I went out and bought some. & although it was fun & yummy, I think it has got to be one of THE WORST Chemically induced foods on our market.

  • Hey, zombies are (were) people too!

    Lol, I love you man!

    ~Vegan Zombie fo life!!!

  • These look SOOO good! Can't wait to try this! I have a little bit of mozzerella left but I should probably get more, and more cheddar, yum!

  • Is that your house, i only ask because there appeared to be a standard gallon container of milk in your friedge when you opened it. Or do you get your soy milk/almond milk by the gallon and if so where?

  • @stonefreealttube great recipe by the way, can't wait to try it.

  • @stonefreealttube I've gotten almond milk by the gallon before, I believe it was at Walmart. But that's a looot to use for just me.

  • @stonefreealttube yes, this was my old place. there was never anything non vegan there. I believe what you are referring to is orange juice.

  • Looks yummy!

  • so, does soy milk work as an adherent in anything? Can you use soy milk to bread tofu, or something?

  • @paraplegicgiraffe yes, with the flour and soymilk, it helps keep it together and you would probably want to it instead of water.

  • @ZombieGate Dairy, gluten and meat is why Americans are all sick and obese. But they will never listen, Great Vid!

  • @5tonyvvvv Gluten has nothing to do with anything. If you aren't allergic and/or intolerant of it, it has no negative effect whatsoever. None. It has nothing to do with why Americans are "sick and obese".

  • @fahlerfreak I can see you know nothing like most people. Gluten was never meant for humans to consume just like animal milk. Gluten clogs the GI tract!! You are better off with out it! Beans, brown rice, Teff, quinoa, Millet. are healthy easily absorbed digestible carbs. with way more Minerals than wheat.

  • @5tonyvvvv Your "facts" are suspect. I have never seen a study done by any reputable source that proves that gluten does anything negative to the human body. I realize that scaremongering about gluten is the new "in" thing to do, but I'll believe it's bad for me until I see some real facts to the contrary. Gluten and MSG all day for me.

  • @fahlerfreak WOW LOL..Thats some stubborn ignorance! Amazing! I hope your heart is having fun! There are plenty of facts on the Health problems from Gluten and MSG! Have you been living under a rock? Doctors and medical journals wont tell you anything, they know nothing about health and nutrition, and there all about Profits! You sound like a Puppet for the pharmaceutical industry! I dont waste my time with Morons like you!

  • @5tonyvvvv Still waiting for proof other than claims that they're bad. Links? Or are you just going to keep claiming, "gluten is bad! It's on the internet! Don't believe what you read, it's bad! This is not because it's trendy to be anti-gluten right now!" THERE IS NO MEDICAL PROOF WHATSOEVER that they do anything bad to you. I'm sorry if I sound like a "puppet" to you, Conversely, you sound like a "blind faith" Xian claiming that scientists don't know that they are talking about.

  • I'm a "beginer" Vegetarian an I love your your channel just made these today they were Amazing!!! Lol P.S. The Vegan Zombie is kind of cute((; lol

  • that seems like alot of work for cheese sticks

  • @BrianRamos42 Yeah, but it's worth it every once in a while. If you can get your hands on the big block of daiya you can just cut them into the right size and skip the whole process of melting it down and reshaping it.

  • @BrianRamos42 Not trying to sound like an ass, but I believe this is called "cooking". It's what folks used to do before everything was sold in microwavable form. Again, not trying to be an ass to you, it's just kinda sad that putting effort into your food (which should be the rule and not the exception imo) is now called into question as being too much work.

  • @BrianRamos42 Not to say cheese sticks are health food or anything :) but yeah.

  • I've been wanting to make these for weeks now! What are the measurements for the garlic and herb mix?

  • @xWhittikerz we kinda just eyeballed it. I'd say we used about 4-5 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp oregano 1 tsp salt and pepper.

  • These are soooo delicious.

  • WOO! WE ROCK!

  • You are awesome.

  • I LOVE UR VIDS!!! GOOO VEGAN ZOMBIE :D

  • @EMOLITTLESOPHIA Thanks!!

  • These sound so good! I definitely want to try making these. Thanks, Vegan Zombie! :)

  • @YourLittleAmpersand you're welcome! Enjoy

  • maybe i'm just tired, but i laughed my ass off each time you "BOOP"ed at 4:55

  • The Mythbusters said it's OK to double dip... hahah

  • @vineyardedge Haha, but what did they say about the double tap?

  • ZOMBIE FINGERS MUAHHAHAHA

  • I'm not a vegan.. but seriously trying these recipes may just make me one! :o

  • I MUST make these! I LOVE Daiya.

  • DAMN YOUR HOT!!! WOW! =)~

  • Your sleeve tattoo is awesome man!

  • @Bolieu thank you!

  • Omg you are one sexy vegan super hoty!!

  • Im vegan and I will be your friend!!! :D

  • I still eat meat, I stopped eating beef completely though. I like watching these videos, maybe one day I'll become a vegan. Working on being a vegetarian first though

  • @roli252520 Thank you for the kind words!

  • Im In Love With TVZ

  • Looking for a video recipe of vegan BBQ ribs and so far no luck do you think you guys could do one ..... If your not to busy with zombies that is

  • Haha. "Why would you wanna fry a mupp?" :D

  • ........................................boop.

  • I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND! haha

  • Great recipe!! Thx!!

  • i'm usually stay away from the "mock foods", but Daiya Cheese is one of the few exceptions i make...

  • i love your boop noise when you drop the sticks into the oil

  • I tried these today with the only "cheese" I had on hand, Vegan Rella. The breading turned out perfect and delicious but the cheese was melted completely into liquid and didn't taste too great. I'm gonna try it with Daiya next time.

  • @OliverZimbelman Yea, unfortunately those other cheeses don't melt as well as Daiya does.

  • and thats why it sucks to have friends. They steal your food.

  • My mouth is watering!!

  • IMA EAT A BURGER

  • @exterminador1904 Moron.

  • @dreamsofelegance how am i a moron

  • Daiya is amazing. I am a true believer, finally, that there is a good vegan cheese. It's expensive, but so is any gourmet cheese.

  • @BiohazardBunney That's true. But it's a damn good 'cheese'.

  • These look good. :) You need more subscribers. Imagine if you got on the food network. " Cooking with the vegan zombie"!

  • @cakecrumb095 That would be great!

  • I just tried making these and they kept calling apart when I was frying them. :/ I left them in the fridge for maybe 2-3 hours. Should I try leaving them in longer next time?

  • @xxpandafacexx hmm. they shouldn't fall apart...did you make sure that you covered them completely in the flour and then back in the milk before dipping in the breadcrumbs? That flour base should crisp up around them and prevent them from falling apart.

  • @ZombieGate Yeah, I did that but the cheese kept getting really gooey and stretching all over the place. They still taste good though! They're just not pretty like yours. :P I shall try again!

  • Are bread crumbs vegan and if I need a special kind what brand do you recomand.

  • @anime2diva It depends what kind, a lot aren't but some are. We use either Edward & Sons organic breadcrumbs, Corn Flakes Breadcrumbs, or Panko.

  • Ok, my two little boys who are almost completely Vegan now think you're the coolest thing ever and now I've had to sit and watch about a dozen of your videos. Which is great because the recipes are GREAT and they're extremely entertaining! :D Just one question, we've joined your site and subscribed here but, oldest son ( 6 going on 16) wants to know the exact seasoning you've used and the amount. Is there anyway to find this out? Thanks!

  • Looks so good can't wait to try! Thanks! You're rad

  • OMG, the bass player: watch?v=FExBrEV9R_4 =) lol

  • MOAR

  • U R So HOT. U ROCK

  • hmm do vegan zombies eat grains instend of brains

  • you use just regular flavor soy milk, right??

  • @MICHOPIMP257 regular flavored soymilk, yes. Unless you want chocolate or vanilla flavored cheese stix :P

  • I don't get it. Vegans practice nonviolence, as exemplified by their plant-based diet, yet this fellow nonchalantly talks about hacking somebody's fingers off (even if that individual a zombie?) Gross.

  • @maidenfairre That's our storyline. We promote veganism in a fun action filled post zombie apocalyptic world. Yes, we've attached a twist of horror to our vegan lifestyles. And zombies aren't somebodys', they are brain dead, walking dead, flesh eaters (pun intended).

  • I wish I could tell you how much I love your videos, especially your epic, EPIC BEARD.

  • @icannotskate I LOVE THE BEARD TOOOOOO

  • UR SO HILARRRRRY USSSSSS

  • @TheJasper808 Haha, I try :)

  • You should shorten this a bit and enter it into Dayia's cooking video contest

  • @madison1234566 we did, it's up there. :)

  • a cooking show in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, I'm in love. I don't even want to know what's going on outside your kitchen. If the world was teeming with zombies I'd cook to keep sane as well.

  • @doitinasubmarine In the near future we will see what is going on outside the kitchen.

  • Love this!!!

  • (CONTINUED)

    6) Pick up cheese stick. Dunk in soy milk. Dredge in flour. Back into soymilk. Then into breadcrumbs.

    7) Put into deep fryer. If you don’t have one, add a couple inches of canola oil to a pot. Test a piece to be sure it fries. Then put in the sticks, about 3 at a time.

    8) Once they are golden brown, take them out of the oil and put them on a paper towel to absorb the grease.

INGREDIENTS: - Daiya shredded mozarella - Breadcrumbs - Garlic powder with oregano, salt, pepper - Soy milk - Flour - Canola oil 1) Melt 1 pkg Daiya cheese in bowl in stovetop. • @shawnzeeee Thanks for post. Don't forget to add 1-2 tbps soymilk to cheese while melting in step 1. I added that in a note after the fact.

  • THANK YOU! I made this today with my boyfriend (meat eater).. and he loved them alot!!

ALSO I think It would be easyier to use an egg replacer with the soymilk because I was having a hard time having the breadcrums stick to the cheese stick... :-( and I used a block of almond cheese and cut it up instead of having to melt all that.. worked the same for me.. ^^ please do more cooking vids ^

  • I adore these videos! :)

    Congrats!

  • kino der toten.. and.. cheese stix :-D

  • Subscribed! Awesome presentation, those look delicious! I haven't had a cheese stick in a while neither, thanks for the inspiration fellow vegan.

  • @fryzor Glad to help out a fellow vegan!

  • Dude, that's one thing I always want.. I need to go get a package of Daiya. You make me wish I weren't starting to transition to raw foods.

  • so excited to make this tomorrow but with gluten free bread crumbs and flour,,,,,I think I just peed my pants I'm so excited.

  • Do you have this recipe for those of us who are having to eat gluten free?

  • Do you have this recipe for those of us who have to eat gluten free? I have Gluten friend bread crumbs but not gluten free flour.

  • @Trillyiun I haven't tried it yet but you could probably substitute it was cornflour, which is wheat and gluten free.

  • watching these is inspiring me to become vegan. just saying.

  • @beccamae3189 Do it ,do it, do it! just saying ;)

  • @ZombieGate is everything priced fairly cheap? and is everything easy to find?!

  • @beccamae3189 for this recipe, yes... and if you don't know where to find Daiya, you can visit their website and there is a link that finds the closest carrier to your location.

  • This is awesome man. I just did the double boiler method on a package of Daiya (for Daiya fingers - to be later added to pizza crust for stuffed crust pizza) and found that it congealed into a "dough ball" like thing and some oil that was part of the product separated. It didn't look like this happened to you, yours looked creamy and runny. Mine was doughy, and was difficult to spread out in my pan to cool. I did it though so we'll see what happens later :-)

Any feedback would be NICE! :-)

  • @Jerkabobber Next time try adding a little bit of soymilk as you are melting it down. 2-3 tbsp. I will add this to the video in a note. Thanks for bring this to my attention. Left that part out when editing (oops).

  • @ZombieGate Sweet man, thanks... I know for next time.

Thanks!! We don't have Daiya but it's so good I order it online...(Northern Canada)

  • @peace1970haileybury Wow, thank you. Feedback such as yours makes us happy and we can't wait to make more videos for you guys.

  • We don't have Daiya cheese here :(

  • @precious014e You can try using Follow Your Heart cheese, or rice cheese, almond cheese.

There are several different types, Daiya is just the best out there.

    Where are you from?

  • @xMatthewxOceanx I'm in Ohio. I have tried the follow your heart and its OK, but not all that good.

  • @precious014e I haven't tried those but these Daiya ones really are amazing.

  • @precious014e Go to Daiya website and find location. There are several places in Ohio

  • @ZombieGate O_O I looked a few years ago and there were none lol. Thank you for letting me know. The closest one is still about 45 minutes away though :(
