  • hey, a cover isn't made to be better than the original! the difference it that tori puts the sensibility of a woman in this song... and it turns out to be amazing in it's softness and sadness.

  • I saw this exact concert in Dallas when I was 16 years old and it blew me away- still does.

  • A m a z i n g .

  • wensday have a brilliant version of this

  • buckets of tears...

  • Not bad, but you should try checking out Tina Arena's version in the studio. Now that's talent and passion.

  • check out Tina Arena's version - now that is a version with power and emotion. Alice Cooper loved Tina's version.

  • I think Tori's version makes you understand the meaning of the song much more than Alice's. Hers is more poignant

  • not bad, but it doesn't have the power of the Coop. This one is too soft and slow.

  • thanx Tori... and Alice

  • Tori was so cool on Punked when the kid asked her about being in Melrose Place.

  • I like the original, but I love Tori's version. She has a way with covers....she makes them her own, as opposed to how most people who do covers just slash the song to pieces.

  • Thank you for sharing this beautiful interpretation of the song that describes my 2nd marraige as if she were truly there.

  • Just checked out Alice's version for comparison. I think this ones nicer, because its softer and considering what the song is about, is so much more fitting. Tori is a beautiful singer and is a great pianist. She does such an amazing cover of a great song. Thanks so much for posting.

  • it's not Alice's "version" it's HIS song! lol

  • better than Lita Ford's version

  • great Alice Cooper cover!

  • great song great voice

  • I love everything Tori does, shes one of the best live solo acts Ive ever seen. I like this too...but...I have to vote for Alices original for real impact, IMHO.

  • Thanks for posting this! Tori does a great version...but it still can't touch Alice's original. This song just means more coming from the man's point of view, especially with Alice's inflections on it. No one can match that.

  • She brings something else to this song. I like it and would not compare it to the Alice original.

  • This is no way as good as the Alice version. No one can cover a song by Alice well, it's his charisma and personality that makes the song not just good, but brilliant

  • guns n roses covering it is my favorite, but this is awesome too

  • The Alice Cooper original is the best by far.

  • wonderful cover, thank you for posting this!

  • what a beautiful cover Tori. Thanx so much for posting this, you are bloody wonderful mate!

  • I love this cover. I wish she'd put this one on the SLG albumn--I think it makes men uncomfortable,(but the lyrics are so true)--I think you really need a woman singing this to hear the truth in it, and Tori does a great job, as always.

  • Yeah I am quite suprised she didn't but it on the Strange Little Girls CD.

  • Written by a man named Alice - go figure. I think she does OK with it, but I think it's more surprising coming from a man - stops one in one's tracks a bit more.

  • Indeed a great cover. I don't get uncomfortable when I hear it, but hey, that's just me. I must also agree with Gorgrann; I think it has more impact coming from a man. But hey, that's just me...

  • Thought that was pretty good... seems to take it a bit more personally and intensely than the original Alice version... but there again, she does do intense very well! :)

  • Yes! more footage from this tour!

Not my favorite cover, but lovely!
