  • I paid 300 for my WASHBURN but I think aragon667 is right when you get to 500.bucks or more you got one of the best. You will not go wrong buying a WASHBURN had mine for 6 years LOVE IT.

  • WANT ONE OF THESE.........................

  • they say "musical warehouse to the world" but don't ship all over the world... can anyone please give me a site that does?

  • looked for this on World Music Supply and it's not there.

  • i have this guitar, i love it! I have gone to shops to find a guitar i like better and the only guitar that even comes close to it is the hummingbird by gibson. its just super playable and has a nice full sound. i love it!

  • @w00kieb0i does it feel like the gibson when it plays? are the frets easy to push down and stuff like the gibson? i have a martin right now but i ddont really like it and i cant afford to spend that much money again but i still want good quality

  • @aragon667 i have medium-light strings on mine and i find it very easy to push the strings down. it has pretty low action which helps with this a lot. (i may try changing to a slightly lighter sting on yours before investing in an entire new guitar. because martin is a good brand, usually quite playable.) although i would still highly suggest this guitar if you are looking for a new guitar.

  • @aragon667 but the only sure way to know if you do/will like it is to go play one. because i can sit here and tell you about it all day, but you may have completely different taste than me. you just never know until you play it. (i suggest playing one before purchase as well as trying changing strings on current if you have heavier strings)

  • @w00kieb0i i have med on mine and they are elixers its not the strings i just dont like the way it feels. i like the gibson feel or even some of the taylors but i just dont wanna spend that much on a guitar right now. i want to go play one but i cant find anywhere that sells them.

  • @aragon667 well, the neck is thin making it easy to get goo leverage on the strings along with the low action, i find find it easy to press down.

  • @aragon667 What you like are the high's, Martins are famous for they're low's and perfect for strumming, Taylor's for they're high's, and Gibson and Breedlove for they're balanced tone, If you tell me your Martin Model, I could probably tell you what models/makes to look, you should also consider Craigslist for guitar trades, they're are quite a few people out they're willing to trade they're gibson's or taylor's for martin's,

  • @pillsburyrampage its a xc1t ellipse nothin too great

  • @aragon667 it's a lower end, but it's still a martin. it's better than dx1, anyway for a trade for that you could most likely get a solid wood guild gad50 or epiphone masterbilt dr500(or any 500 series) easily, they are amazing instruments both are more closer to gibson's in tone and feel, my advice go to a guitar center(using as a example because I know they carry these) and play them, if you like either of them more than your martin offer it as a trade on craigslist, or just search to buy

  • @aragon667 not trying to insult Washburns, own a few myself, but they usually excel at the sub 500 dollar category, none that I have played have sounded anything or played like a Gibson, they are quality instrument's, however my advice is look toward guilds or Masterbilt for a Gibson like sound/action. I have handed many people at guitar center in the martin room a Masterbilt 500 series none of them disliked it, most agreed they sounded better then most martins under 1500. my advice try em all

  • Looks great, the chords sounds great but I want to hear more stuff.

  • I LOVE JUMBO GUITARS !!!!!!

  • Oh look, he can play a chord.......very helpful!

  • jumbo ftw!!

  • Jim

I own one of these, my wife threw my bridge pins away by accident. I need to know what size they are to replace them or sell me some that are the same

  • @rebabevets owch, that really sucks..

  • I played this guitar... heavy but really nice... it beat the other epiphone jumbo that I played

  • lol...now that i listen to it again...sounds almost like Depapepe

  • i wish they would play it more, and give a more variety of songs....we dont wanna hear some chord progression that the guy probably made up 2 minutes before they started recording

  • so do I.. one chord played all over the neck really doesn't show you how the guitar sounds.. that really sucks

  • Very informative!

  • one word.... tanglewood

  • ... Are deadly!

  • Hey guitarinsteve, judging from your comment to totterini, your are not very fond of Tanglewood guitars. Can you tell me why?

  • Yes, tell us!

  • No you got me wrong! I love tanglewood guitars, I've got 2 at home (that's saying something as I have 3 guitars and my electric is a jackson)

  • I own a Tanglewood TW-145ASC and I hate it, the sound is dull and the action is horrendous, was given it as a free gift, says it all really

  • This Washburn, from the recording here sounds a million times better, eager to try one out

  • I was thinking about getting this guitar. I think I'll get it soon, I usually just don't have anytime to go out to a store and try it out.

  • Nice ..

you might want to send me one so i can make you a better video hehe

    Jeff Williams / Acoustic Soloist

  • OR send me one :-0

I'm not some fancy acoustic soloist but I just want a excellent sounding guitar that'll hold up well. This Washburn seems to do the job.
