Dave, I had mummy dearest over last Sunday and she had mentioned an issue with her landlord's dryer. Her landlord is apparently CLUEless when it comes to fixing basic things. Anyway, I immediately recalled your happening and showed her your vid. She was in HYSTERICS! So.... Thank you for making my mummy laugh... A LOT!!!
Hey, that dog food doesn't look half bad for being scrounged away by some uhhh mouse? Reminds me of my old slumlords mouse urine/poop filled stoves she used to try and make me use.
I see a theme going here... I was just watching someone talking about finding mice in his oven. Oh my God! They're taking over the world, one appliance at a time! Good to see you, by the way.
Me too. We have this heavy bin thing that his food goes in. These buggers were stealing it right out of his bowl. Now we're making sure if his bowl isn't empty by night time, it gets sealed up so nothing can get to it.
That is just unbelievable! LOL All this time you thought Jelly was eating good and her food was being stolen! That is just too weird! Glad you got it all figured out though..
Poor Jelly had almost nothing for days. No wonder he was always begging for a cookie. I had to chuckle. When I posted the picture of my vacuum on Daily Booth, I don't think you realized I was showing the amount of dog food I sucked out of the dryer. But you saw that self-propelled label alright. :-)
It was a nasty bacon smell. The towels were the worst. Getting out of the shower all clean and smelling perdy and grabbing a slice of bacon off the rod to dry yourself. Yuck.
You know, I've never thought about taking the exhaust pipe off, but that would make sense to heat your house in the winter.. Oh oh oh!! Throw a nice scented fabric softener sheet into it and have a good smelling house!! Oh yea!!
I'm trying to catch up on videos! I haven't watched any since last year!! haha
The setup works great when there's no dog food in the pipes. It's amazing how a little moisture in the air makes a room feel so much warmer. Good in winter, not so much in summer.
Whoever it was sure has a big appetite. I think its like my grandmother used to say when someone didn't finish their plate. Their eyes were bigger than their stomach.
Yikes!! As you well know, I do not enjoy the "outdoors" stuff coming indoors. Was it a squirrel or mice? Had to be squirrel, huh? Really, Dave, I would have been horrified, but bacon smelling clothes? I like bacon...
I'm pretty sure it was a mouse. I think a squirrel would have been much more destructive. No part of the dryer system connects to the outdoors. No outside vent. And the hole in the back of the dryer is small even for a mouse to get through. I just would have liked to see the parade of them stashing it all. Maybe it was a bucket brigade.
This was a rancid half cooked and burnt bacon. It wasn't appetizing at all. The towels were awful.
Oh, yuck! You're right - it has to be a mouse. It makes me chuckle to visualize a family of mice trooping to Jelly's bowl, stealing a kibble that is the size of their head, and then walking across the room to the tiny hole in the dryer. Set traps!
You know what's hilarious? Knowing what you were going to find and having seen the DB pics, it was just so much fun watching the wind up and the pitch.
I think the mouse just wanted his food heated up like any self-respecting mouse would. Are you sure it was only 5 cups? I saw that vacuum cleaner piled up full!!!
I bet, because you are a guy, you thought this was cool as hell, huh?
I thought they were very creative hiding their stash so discretely but I am totally over the cool cute rodent thing since a couple years ago with all the water and electrical problems.
Mickey's House of BBQ is now closed for business. Ok, yeah it was cool but a pain. ;-)

I don't know how well they would sell to repeat buyers. The first time it sounds like it might smell good but it's really nasty. Yuck
2TheLeftOfNoWhere 2 years ago
Fricken mouse was stealing Jelly's food! That mouse was obviously a glutton or he is preparing for some kind of mouse apocalypse.
Bacon is good, but I wouldn't want my clothes to smell like it!
So nice to see you again!

What a huge pile of dog food! Glad things didn't catch fire while you were out.
Did you catch the culprit?
yoyomax12 2 years ago
We don't run the dryer while were out. Good thing. I had buzzers and sirens going off from all over the house.
Didn't catch him yet. Maybe he took the hint and moved on. I doubt it. ;-)
