  • "one day a taniwa went swimming in the moarna , he whispered sweetly in my taringa" LOL, pakehas are crack ups sometimes - love it. ahahaha :)

  • @pacificSWEETNESS they arnt pakeha they are americans

  • @nrlstar I thought 'pakeha' meant 'white person' Those American's WERE white!

  • @feejan

I am pretty sure a pakeha means a white kiwi, correct me if I am wrong :S

  • @b4ilogon I'm not too sure. But if a white person was standing on the street without even speaking, I can almost guaruntee that a maori would call them a pakeha just cos they are white. Even if they were not from NZ.

  • @feejan

Okay my mate - she is a kiwi - she said a Pakeha is basically someone who is born in NZ and is not Maori, so I don't think a maori would just go around calling them a pakeha my 2nd cousin is actually part maori and she does not exactly have the features unlike my friend here is Aus.

  • @b4ilogon Well it seems her "pakeha" genes are stronger in her. And I'm talking about those Maori that just hate on white because they're white. The majority of white kiwi have never called themselves a pakeha. It's a maori word, for them to use as far as I'm concerned. If I have to tick a box and the options are pakeha or European NZ, I'mticking the latter!

  • @b4ilogon pakeha means foreigner mate, kirima means white person.

  • haha kumara short of a hangi ! haha its said KOOMAHRAH short of a HAANG-EY

and taringa is a ear said TAH RING AH. hahah thats actually crack up. i dnt see how we have a accent?

  • No Wucking Furries - old Kiwi saying, just swap the W and F around.

  • @brobusker pretty sure no wukkers is an aussie saying.

  • "Taniwha" lolol hahaha classic.

  • Then theres the fucking Naenae and Taita accent from The Hutt Valley, usually from someone wearing grey track pants and ug boots with a dressing gown on in the middle of summer. It is almost unintelligible and may God have mercy on your soul if you ever wish to learn it!
