@garysclassics Believe it or not, this was a musical spot on an October 1964 episode of "The Jack Benny Show." The directing is indeed stunning, and what a flawless, beautifully executed performance. The rest of the episode was classic Benny comedy fare (he made an unsuspecting Andy dress in a tux to perform at a grand opening -- of a meat market). But before the storyline unfolded, Jack and Andy chatted with a couple of elderly members of Jack's fan club (including the great Madge Blake).

After patter with Jack and the two elderly ladies, Jack announces that Andy will sing a number from his new "My Fair Lady" album. There's also another clip with the rest of the episode.

That was incredible. I've never seen Andy do anything like this. Cutting Edge - Even Now. Hauntingly Beautiful. I wonder if it's from the CBS summer show he did - well received, but not picked up by the network. I've heard a number of people, including Andy, mention it in rueful tones.
