I own a 2010 GMC Terrain SLT1. At first, a solid, smooth and quiet ride, exaggerated styling (inside / out), hugs curves beautifully and on long road trips, the mileage is righteous. Unfortunately, at 6,000 miles, the tranny expired. GMC had the gall to suggest "rebuild" at such a young vehicle age, threats of Lemon Law attorney encouraged GMC to step up and replace the transmission. After recall of heater problem fixed, I must say I now enjoy the vehicle and get compliments left and right.
I own the 2011 GMC Terrain. Great review, and I agree with this. There are two minor cosmetic details I thought were weird...no sunglasses holder and no programable garage door opener. There is that second on/off switch for the dome light which they could have removed for a garage door opener. OVERALL, it's an excellent vehicle so far!!
@KASYZ250 I just checked Edmunds and they list 22/32 but the list both 4 and 6 options under that fuel estimate. I didn't do MPG calculations when I had it - guess that's a hole in my game :) but I am an average guy you know... Tony
