  • i love it.. israel and arab countries are investing into real energie... ELECTRİC.....

  • A very rational way of getting even w/ those busting yr nuts.........getting around fossil fuel. G....what a thought. Emmmmm? now why the fuck cant my corrupt gov see the same light and follow suit? Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • i don't like these electrics.....

  • @guurfa

To be honest .. Me neither... I can't imagine electric cars be as fast as petrol or diesel cars :(

If the car runs100 miles.. i guess the battery change price would be about ''100dollars'' ? if so then i'll stick to the petrol engine :D

But it's a cool idea:D i think petrol cars are gonna be rare and expansive if it success :D

  • I want one now, This will be my next car if it hits the US...... count on that! Go Israel!

  • my next car

  • what happens when coal runs out!?

  • YAYAYAYYAAAAYY!!!! IM EXCITED WOOT WOOT!

  • Make this electric car so well Israel that petrol burning automobiles would be considered "horse and buggy" technology! Funding and Western government support of your deceitful, oppression fabricating, entropic ideology minded enemies will dry up and be left to their own devices. Oil is the real threat to Israel's existence!

  • Thank you Israel! "Soft warfare" against the only funding source of the ideology that seeks to subjugate the world, exterminate the Jews and return human advancement back to the 7th century!

  • how much is this car?

  • @TamerXmilad1 how much is this car? 500 grand.

  • @TamerXmilad1 Prices are expected to start at around $17,000.

  • Nice!!

  • Good alternative to a "Hybrid", no need gasoline at all!

  • i'm jealous

  • If we go down the road of making vehicles that run on electricity the infrastructure used to cope with the extra load on the electricity grid will only be transferred to the power stations that will then work much harder producing much more Co2 at their end so this will simply displace the outlet of carbon It will not stop it. Unless solar energy plants are created. But then to create all this new materials still costs billions of tons of Co2. I agree better sooner than latter.

  • neephius--

Regarding CO2 emissions, you are not entirely correct; you've somewhat missed the mark.

A stop-and-go internal combustion engine is way more polluting then a generator that runs "steady-state," so your initial observation isn't quite correct regarding CO2emissions.

Secondly, the cars will do the bulk of their recharging at night when demand is low; they will draw no more power then that of the lightbulbs already replaced by ones that use less wattage.

  • @SatchmoSings. No Youve missed the point the point is this. The world has an abbundabce of hydrogen released from water totally recyclable. But greedy companies like this one would rather have control over people by making the future market electric and making it so that they control your power pack. Liker every thing else. now control. no freedoms.Electric cars are stupid and just another form of control. It really is bullshit idea.

  • @neephius Give me something to google regarding what you told me about these "miracle" batteries from Australia."

    HInt: They don't exist.

  • Making electric cars we are not resolving the worlds pollution problems? Having an electric car is not a good idea we should use the idea which has already been designed for worldwide use the hydrogen fuel cell. Why? It is adaptable to existing vehicles. It does not mean creating trillions more tons CO2 producing batteries new car infrastructure etc:. Then we are not transferring the load onto the electricity grid where Power stations are going to have to work 100 times = more Co2

  • These are inventions to be shared with ALL the world. Please don't bash the arabic and muslim nations thus many muslim minds may also be behind these projects. Peace can also be achieved by sharing good and productive technologies.

  • weststarflyers--

Muslims minds are not behind very much unless it involves destruction; there are but three exceptions, the Balkans, Turkey and Malaysia. Indeed, Turkey will be MAKING the electric cars in this experiment.

Israel gets the a five billion dollar CPU factory from "Intel" and the electric car infrastructure while all of the Muslim world (except for the three above) can't even get a factory to sew DOLL CLOTHES!~!

    Get used to it!

  • AxelofBavaria--

These things, that is nuclear, fusion and A BETTER BATTERY are not "mutually exclusive" despite your anally, small-minded claim that it MUST be ONLY as you expressed.

Thank you for showing me how utterly small-minded and utterly anal you are.

  • AxelofBavaria--

Once this becomes a reality, Israel will, of course, make a series of "Battery Breakthroughs."

  • Having enjoyed the silence & smooth ride of one of the first hybrid cars that came out (the original Honda Insight), I'm interested in alternatives....but I'm just wondering if there is an increased risk due to vulnerabilities in infrastructure (electrical grid) security.....just wondering

  • They've definitely taken that into consideration. Read up on it. It's basically the Vehicle to Grid (V2G) concept where the cars with priority (depending on how depleted they are, typical driving patterns) get charged first, others later and cars that are fully charged help supply the grid with available electricity. So charged cars act as storage devices for the grid itself.

  • This is so unbelievably cool! I imagine Arab faces when they run out of oil and have nothing but the sand while Israel's energy resources will thrive.

  • jewish

Yeah but don't make the mistake and sell the concept to the arabs

  • @Jewishfan ur so pathetic

  • @Jewishfan Unfortunately, the oil sheiks aren't stupid. They know they are selling a finite resource. They are well diversified in a number of other commercial endeavors. Even if oil ran out tomorrow, their revenues wouldn't.

  • @Jewishfan you know arab countries are alrdy investing into green technologies... way ahead of everyone else except a few countries

  • wow Israel is kicking ass

  • lol. 2011? Everything in Israel takes atleast 5 years longer than expected to to complete. I guess we can look forward to seeing the electric car in 2016!

  • mitukats--

Something tells me that you're just simply angry over Israel's accomplishing this.

  • Not at all. It's just that if you lived in Israel you would know how Israeli bureaucracy works and realize that it takes five years longer to get anything significant done in this country b/c of the bureaucracy.

Take for example the train in Jerusalem. It was supposed to be finished by 2008, and it's still not.

  • mitukats--

I'm sure that's true enough, however since "Better Place" is largely a privately-held corporation, I would assume they'd be more motivated to "speed things up."

  • @SatchmoSings something tells me that you just troll the internet looking to find a person for an argument.

  • The world will be a better place once the petrol economy is killed off.

  • @IamaZionistGoy Irony of a whole thing is, that the electricity in these charging stations comes probably from fosil fuels :D

  • @cyberdaemon Irony maybe but not for long if nuke power is used wisely

  • @IamaZionistGoy The thought of being able to live in a world with non fossil fuel will be great. Your intelect just to say that you want to see Arab faces when they run out of oil is moot.

Isreals energy recources will thrive??. Exactly where is isreal getting their energy from.

Solar , Wind ,Geothermal the Australian Invention.

Ahh the Unclean and destrictive Nuclear fuel. this must be it yes no maybe. Or are you just confused jewishfan.

  • @IamaZionistGoy bullshit

  • Kill the petro economy and the enemy of Israel withers.

  • IamaZionistGoy--

The Petroleum-Muslim nations are not just an enemy of Israel, they seem to be an enemy of all people.

  • Agreed, its true as well.
