I appreciate how they sung 'The Boys' because 1.It was all in English and 2. It had a lot of good opportunities to show off their dance moves. However, they didn't really do a fantastic job of exposing the US to K-pop did they? There's not a single word of Korean in the song therefore it's not exactly K-pop. It would have been better to get people into their Korean songs so people would actually like K-pop.
I wished they sang their other songs. "The Boys" is good, but their songs such as "Gee", "Genie", "Oh" etc. are do much better (in my opinion), but im still proud of them :)

The original intent of his original query was to be very complimentary and praising of an ability not to be taken lightly for anyone other than a Tiffany or Jessica. On both counts he wasn't being mean or insensitive if a bit uninformed by the staff of the biographies of the girls - a gaff and oversight much understandable as such things go.

I'm actually glad they came to America not just because I live here, but because people overseas seem to give a lot of love to the members that aren't cheered on as much (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Sunny). I may be Taeyeon biased but as soon as they cheered for Hyoyeon, my heart skipped a beat <3 Taeyeon being cheered on after her high note<3 SNSD just did awesome as always<3

kpop kpop, they should sing in korean version. it is important to promote the essence of kpop if not the it is no difference as other american music. be proud of your language, dun always have to stick to english.

They're in America where the majority of the people speak English. I love it when they sing in Korean as much as everyone else, but they would be more successful here if they sang in English. One of SNSD's song i particularly do not really like. Lyrics, weak. And the song it self is kinda meh. No wonder it didn't make it to the billboard top 100. If they made the English version of genie or oh! it might be a different story.

I'm actually glad they came to America not just because I live here, but because people overseas seem to give a lot of love to the members that aren't cheered on as much (Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Seohyun, Sunny). I may be Taeyeon biased but as soon as they cheered for Hyoyeon, my heart skipped a beat <3 Taeyeon being cheered on after her high note<3 SNSD just did awesome as always<3

the different thing bout korean idols, they train for EVERYTHING, not just specializing in 1 talent, that's what makes them stand out, i don't understand korean all that well, except for the simple greetings, but heck, i enjoy just watching them dance and listening to their voices!who cares about what language it is!! kpop kpop, they should sing in korean version. it is important to promote the essence of kpop if not the it is no difference as other american music. be proud of your language, dun always have to stick to english.

@Qlingmershin And what would the American audience think of them? Most would probably think "what they heck are they saying?" and wouldn't bother to listen. They're in America where the majority of the people speak English. I love it when they sing in Korean as much as everyone else, but they would be more successful here if they sang in English. Besides, it's great to learn a new language! And if people want to hear their Korean singing, then they can always look it up themselves. :'>
