You have to love how Anjelica Huston isn't just some bimbo who looks pretty onscreen. She's a loving, compassionate woman with a head on her shoulders. I absolutely adore her. I was not previously aware of this phenomenon, but from now on I will boycott any films or advertisements (and their products) that use great apes. Thank you Anjelica, thank you PETA.

This just made me cry! I just don't understand how people can be so cruel and abusive to ANY animal let alone one so humanlike! It is just deplorable! Why aren't these people brought up on charges of cruelty to animals???? It is just heartbreaking!

I had no idea that great apes or orangutangs were mistreated by the entertainment industry, it really opened my eyes and made me feel sick to the core about this horror happening in secret. I'll feel guilty watching tv with a great ape (apart from nature documentaries) from now on :'(

Three cheers for Angelica Houston and PETA for this fantastic video message. Every time I see a new commmercial that uses animals I write to the company and tell them that I will NOT buy or use their products until they stop broadcasting the ads.

The frustrating thing is that as soon as one corporation finally stops using them, another one seems to start, thus perpetuating the belief that it's ok. What we need is a national law banning this disgraceful practice. Please tell your congressmen.
