I saw SSSSSSS in 73, it was double billed with the BWCW, as you noticed. It was scary and a bit erotic for a tween with growing hormones at that time, but I didn't mind. It still holds up today as a great under rated scare flick worth viewing again. Nice score too.

OMG! I remember watching this as a kid and had looked for it over the years...YOUTUBE rocks! The scientist successfully transforms David into a King Cobra. But shortly after that, he brings out his other King Cobra to chat with it, and is soon killed. After that, the daughter along with two cops arrive, and shoot down the other King Cobra. The daughter runs into the house to see the that David has been transformed into a King Cobra, which is fighting with a mongoose. The daughter screams as the end shot.
