i have followed the 5 videos, but instead of 4 stiches, i did 9, i have done 8 rows... and for some reason i have 12 stiches. i think it is because of the extra ones you put on the top.am I doing this right? should the sticthes be increaseing as i go through the lines? or should i be decreasing? also for the end, for some reason, it has 20 stiches in it, and i can't figure out what i am doing wrong. because i am so far i don't want to re start everything. help plz!
I did it exactly like you said, and my blanket's just going in a circle. And the bottom points aren't really points, just waves. I'm getting really frustrated because I'm wasting all this yarn.
Please help. My second row, they're all 4 hdc on each side of the 3 middle hdc. The next row they're uneven, the other side is 5 and the other side is 4. I've spent 5 hours redoing my work and I still don't get it. What am I doing wrong? I've watched the video over and over but I keep on making mistakes. How many hdc should there be before and after the 3middle hdc? Thanks.
@shutterbug1000 he has another video for no knot joining. I have only been crocheting for 16 days, but have used his no knot technique on everything, including my FAVE, the star tree skirt. I do love his vids, though, as they are so well presented even a beginner can bang out a beautiful item in 2 days. Anyway, look for the no knot join.
YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THANK YOU... I am doing 'alright' on my first zig zag blanket. I will show you my progress soon.. I hope I am going the right thing..
@mikeyssmail ok, lol so i started again, thank you for your reply. is it normal for the stitches to increase as you go? in the second row, i am only skipping one stitch as i go down? I dont know why but from the point to the decrease im adding an extra stitch?? thank you so much for a reply!
Thank you for your videos. I am beginner. I am making a baby blanket using this design. Its seem like my blanket wants to curl. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I really enjoy your videos and instruction. You go slow enough, explain things simple enough and throw in little things that are important as you go. I really appreciate you doing this and making it simple
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I've been making my baby girl a blanket & the only stitch I knew how to do was a Double Crochet So now I'm excited to try this one!! :)
Hello Mikey, really love your vids and they're so easy to follow, I can't read a crochet book, this make it a lot easier. I was wondering how would I change colors if I wanted to on this?
Thank you for showing this pattern online Mikey. I've been searching online for it but don't have the money to join the stitching clubs...ugh. My first grandbaby is on the way and I'm making a blanket, and plan on making some for charity as well. Thanks again!

Hey mike! Love your work. How would you do an increase/decrease with this stitch?
nzinga84 3 years ago
meaning? Making the stitches taller? or decreasing the number of stitches per line?
Let me know at your convenience. :)
