  • Very nice performance.

  • very far of the style, it's clean, interesting, unfortunately, that's all...

  • This is probably my favorite movement of all time. It makes you want to rend your garments and wail. Painful, beautiful, tragic, passionate. This performance in particular is very moving.

  • Did she write the cadenza or was it already written?

  • her bow hold is sometime awkward?

  • Well playing, but its not Shostakovich music, she dont understend, what musik she played.

  • As a professional musician, performer and teacher, it is fact that every performer has/his her own interpretation of the music. I agree with the other reviewer "they don't have to be flopping around all over the place to show that the music is intense." Quite frankly, her techinical ability is brilliant- don't mistake the technical intensity for interpretive intensity.

  • the cadenza was beautiful. it was so intense i loved it. great job.:)

  • Ohh.... I love Sergey Khachatryan's interpretation the most...but I like this one too :)

  • when she shook her hand out it shows that she its taking alot out her, this isnt an easy to play straight through

  • why is it that she isn't as famous as bell or chang?? her playing is JUST as a spetacular , if not more!!

  • @wangman19 i totally agree. however, i think she just doesnt have the same charismatic stage presence that chang has. chang can make an audience fall in love with her before she even starts playing and everyone will rave about her, even when her playing isnt always..... quite there. its a shame, but thats just how things work

  • @hodgrix well she has that "rock star" quality

  • @wangman19

Because she wasn't a child prodigy like Sarah Chang. Chang had a big career right off after getting into Juilliard at 5.

  • @kuvhlubkojibleegxwbo even though she is in ways better than Chang i think, personally i'm not a huge Chang fan, i think she slaughters.

  • her facial expressions reminds me at han-na chang, when she play shostakoviches cello concerto

  • wonder woman and her super-fingers

  • I thought I likes hahn's interpretation but now I like this girl's interpretation more. Her tone reminds me of Hahn's tone back then

  • i feel like I am stoned!this music works on me,jesus

  • Zahkar Bron students are amazing!

  • I dream into the valley, thanks so much!

  • is that in the same hall as Hahn's performance?

  • sorry mrs hahn, but if there was a contest to see who could play this peice the best, shoji would get the prize. however, i still think you [mrs hahn] rocks!!

  • Mrs? I wasn't aware that Hahn was married.

  • Better than Hahn!

  • hauntingly wonderful

  • Brilliant. This is an absolutely, beautifully articulated performance.

  • 素晴らしい! 一連の投稿、ありがとうございます。
