i can see you have pretty good aim and good questions. keep up the good work, you truly are joining a bigger reality. i personally like to use the term "spiritualreaity" when i want to come away from "fake spirituality".
I've learned to not judge others because you are only judging yourself. I always felt a disconnection with religion but I also think it is beautiful because it is a tool that helps people learn more about themselves. I also realized that I don't want to be like Jesus or Buddha ( they only gave us tools to guides to be in touch with our true selves) I want to be like me so that means having to face all my fears and honoring myself. I intend to use this to help others help themselves :)
You might want to differ religion from spirituality. I find new age to be a religion as much as all the other "official" ones. They are all made of authority structures, just like it is in the worldy world. Spirituality lives within each person, weather they are part of a religion or not. I agree that many people who are scared to face their old hurts hide in the New Age corner, never really touching the ground with their feet. It takes courage to heal, many won't.
I loved this. Just in the last year had I realized these things about 'spirituality' myself having been immersed in the new age lie for quite sometime while simultaneaously trying to heal myself from the past and discover who I was. I could never reconcile the two because new age would always tell me things that were promoting dissociation which is how I lived most of my abused childhood. It is so great to hear another realize these things. It's comforting to see others waking up likeyouthankyou
I don't see wisdom here. I'm in agreement with the two subjects, DL and the Pope are less than mediocre people. I think your "distaste" for bringing children into this world is ill-informed, though I probably share your background (tribulations growing up, atheism). Ironically, the best thing about spiritual people is their respect for allowing the creation of new beings into this world. Your map needs a major overhaul. We are not primarily physical beings, take your pick, mental, spiritual
@memorizable2020 thanks for commenting. i don't have a general distaste for people bringing children into the world. i only have a specific distaste for people who are partially unconscious (partially traumatized) having children, because they traumatize their children, which is abusive. how is that unwise? perhaps, though, it comes across as overly idealistic. if it does, it might help to study my point of view a bit more, as i address that question in detail on my website. all the best, daniel
Maybe the Dalai Lama is enraged because he was exiled by China. Maybe not. But I liked this except for the fluffery at the end. Nice glowing effect. Do we all really have some perfection within us? ok, ok.
TY, but, in contrast to what you say in another of your videos, The Dalai Lama does not tell people to continue to have children. He has been outspoken on overpopulation, painting it as one of the most important issues facing our planet's fragile ecosystems today. I'd imagine he would be delighted to hear you call him ordinary as that is all he ever claims to be. I am not a follower of anything, but to call the man "criminal"and lump him in with the current "Hitler Youth" Pope seems lazy. IMO.
You're amazing! I shared a lot of thinking with you. Keep it up!!!

You share a lot of theory but little substance - I would like more definition, I think.

@csnellen probably worthwhile to read some of what i've written -- more detail there. i didn't want to make these videos cumbersome.

Can you elabortate a bit on what you mean by "spirit"? Perhaps I'm so out of touch with it I'm missing the obvious. Cheers, Dave
