  • thats a 5 stars Tarptel -portable hotel room

  • Thats a sweet set up baker tent style design

  • I hung the 5x7 from te ridgeline, and secured it to the ground. That way I knew the proper height of my ridgeline. Then I hung the 10x10 diagonaly, staked the front conrners, then the back, tightened the ridgeline etc...

  • That looks great. How did you start to set it up?

    Nate

  • SO...how did it work out for you ? Did it keep you dry?

  • @anubis1335 Yeah it worked great until the typhoon tore the 12" stakes out of the ground. Larger diameter stakes are needed for bad weather :)

  • that is awesome!!

  • @onelastpiano Thank you!

  • Nice....bit of origami going on there but looks good.

  • @heyxilong It took a little bit of figuring out but thanks!

  • hey man great setup, would be great with afire in front of it.

  • @werb1961

Thank you sir! I'm going to make a clear tarp for the front to use next winter. It should work out great. I left the tarp up in these crazy rain storms today, and it's still standing! the wood support that I used to hold up the front fly fell over because I did not hammer it into the ground, but that's no big deal. I'm going to look into making a cot in the woods. That would be an awesome setup, this "cabin" with a cot in it! Thank you for the positive feedback brother!
