They were fine with each other, it was only when they got bigger and divided the tank between them the problem started, but they didn't nip until they started to become agressive with each other. I've had another angel in the tank for about a week or so now, and he/she bothers no one!
you've got an angel in there now? sounds cool! can't wait for a new vid. and thanks for answering. i didn't think there would be a problem, but somebody on yahoo answers told me the rams would nip the angel's fins. it just didn't sound right. thanks again :)
They're both cichilids and are fine for a community tank. Perhaps the person on yahoo answers just had a little shit of a fish like i did! Will put a vid of Angel on in next couple of days.
I think you might be talking about flower horns in a previous comment? anyways, i still have to check out your newest video, but i thoroughly enjoy the tank i see here :) thanks to your vids,i'm really set on getting a bigger tank, and i'm hooked on clown loaches and angelfish! rams are growing on me, too :) brilliant aquascaping, btw!
hi me again thanks for telling me about ur new vid on this tank how big is this tank? and what are all the amout and types of fish in this tank thanks 5 stars Scottishtilidie92
cheers 4 the rating! It's a 5ft 372 litre. Had a change around with some of the small fish (now in other tank). It's home to 2 ghost shrimp, 9 clown, 1 zebra loach, 2 golden rams, 2 blue rams, 1 knife fish, 1 bristlenose, 1 chinese algae eater, 2 angels, 6 cardinals, 6 minnows, 4 dwarf blue rainbows, 2 red rainbows...think that's all of them!
oh...and 2 silver sharks and 2 cichilids (african) which i'm not sure of the name, but when the mature they will turn reddish with a lump on their head.
tank looks cool, really like the loaches
