'm fifteen and 6,2 235, and i am buying my first car soon. i really love beetles and bajas but I'm afraid i wont fit in it or that ill look funny. My parents say that they are feminine and they don't think i should get one, but i really like them. Also are they reliable daily drivers and do the doors and trunk lock up?
Those little engines are so realiable, once I drove an old beetle 500 miles just to discover that only one piston had above 90 psi compresion and the others below 40. Great project, good luck!
@scooterscottii - Thanks Scott ;) I had an old Dune Buggy in high School that i rebuilt. That VW Smell mixed with Oil and Gas gets into your blood. My Son is going to help me take the engine out today...maybe that smell will get into his blood too.
How is yours lifted and wered u get the engine and transaxle
