Yes that's true, we definitely were too close to the one shown in the film. It was filmed in the Penguin reserve on the Otago Peninsula, and the penguin came walking up the only walkway. We all had to hold our breath, be extremely silent while we were slowly walking past him. He was extremely scared. Our guide then told us that he was sick because he wasn't fat enough for the winter, and so he was picked up and taken to the Penguin hospital as shown at about 1:20 in the film.

Good effort. Well explained but really needs audio. Natural sounds, narration or just music would add interest.

Aww, what a cute video! I remember seeing these little ones when I went to New Zealand. They really are adorable :)
Such a shame that they're endangered, but most species are these days... so sad.
