  • BMW 635CSI COPY

  • wow ! i love this car !

  • i cant understand that language... I dont speak German

  • Look at the tire at 0:51! Like jelly!

  • A Design Masterpiece by Bruno Sacco.

  • i'm a proude owner hehe

  • those who bitch about MB build quality are full of shit, I drive a 2002 S430 the car is 8 years old, 200k never had a problem, the only things I had to change was oil, tires, filters, and break pads...

PS: Even a Maybach/Rolls-Royce in the hands of a fool can be unreliable

  • the w123.. is the best! =D

  • This movie is a gem!

  • Yes, I drove one these and is a great solid car. The last generation of benzes are good too.

  • w124 is also legendary

  • 126 and 140... two of the best built benz ever. You won't find any benz like these anymore.

  • your plastic fantastic BMW is piece of shit. MB is the best car ever .Mercedes C126/C124/C123/C115 is the best cars ever made.

  • @kapitanlod

    +116 & ~140???

    my best w126

  • @kapitanlod i prefer the old mercedes

  • @kapitanlod last and not least w111

  • @popilirol:

Go drive yourself a truly maintained W126, and we'll see what's crap and what is not. These are some of the best vehicles ever built. I own 3 w126.

  • This was the last of Mercedes legendary quality

After this gen and the one after it, everything mercedes had built lasts only 100K without falling apart

  • nope, thw W140 was buddy, and the new Mercedes (2008+) are no longer crappy...

  • How's that Toyota/Lexus floor mat unintentional acceleration working out?

  • What is that supposed to mean? It's all due to stupid owners who don't understand the concept of a floor mat clip.

  • Bullshit. All this talk about newer MB's falling apart is nothing more than a myth put forth by stupid ass Lexus fanboys. How long a car lasts depends not only on the build quality but how owners treat and drive it. It's safe to say that the newer MB's are built to a high standard and will last just as long as their older contemporaries.

  • I own two W126 Mercedes, and I hate Lexus. But I will agree that the newer Mercedes are just not as sturdy as the older ones. Who cares if the motor gets to 500K miles if the chassis falls apart first, or the electronics go out to lunch......

  • The older Mercedes' used heavier steel which made them feel like tanks. Newer Mercedes' (and cars in general) use lightweight, yet sturdier steel. This accounts for the perceived loss of "solidity". A modern MB is well-built and a high quality car. There is no doubt about that. People are just overrating the old Benzes so much given the quality downfall the firm experienced in the mid 1990s to early 2000s. My brother has owned a new C300 since early 2009 and the car has been flawless & solid.

  • @jakemiller5000 The rusting bodywork and endless electrical and trim problems are not "perceived" they are real!!!

  • @laughingharry

Which cars from that era don't have rust problems? Especially if they're in a 4-climate-zone environment. Electrical problems? The stuff MB made in the mid-1990s to early 2000s were known for suffering from some electrical gremlins. The current MBs they're making now are back to the bulletproofness of the past. My brother's C300 has been flawless. And my brother places great emphasis on reliability and bought his new C class given the great experiences some friends had with it.

  • old cl :)

  • Perhaps the prettiest coupé that Mercedes has ever built. Of course much more elegant than its bulkier successors. A future classic, indeed. A huge masterpiece of design and mechanics.

  • Perhaps the prettiest coupé ever, of all cars.

  • Thanks for the history...Forgot Bruno designed it.

Mine is a 500 SEC built in May of 82 but technically a Euro 1983 500 SEC in Magaanese Brown with an air bag & antilock brakes. The was ahead of its time & drives like a dream!

  • nice car , nice video,sleeping music

  • who is the artist of that song?

  • The late great Barry White, he drove a white SEC

  • @thepatelfarmer i wonder what is the title of the song...

  • The widebody w126 Sec coupe is pure BADASS. If you haven't seen a picture your missing out

  • Way too much motorcar for the modern era but it helps when I tell the Ladies that mine was owned by Harrison Ford...What ? Could happen...

  • ahaaa ok thanks 4 the information

  • when the SEC-class started ??

  • 1983 as the 380SEC

  • Oops, it was 1981 that the W126 came out

  • the w126 started in 1979, but im asking about the SEC , is it the same year ??

  • The coupe came out in 1981, although the W126 came out in 1979 in Europe, we didn't get it untill 1981.
