  • nice one beautiful perch mate

  • ha you lost that fish p

  • What's the sport in fishing such a small lake (pond)?

  • @DiarmaidGNR I'm fishing the corner on a canal shaped lake, its close to 2 acres with 40 odd pegs. I agree its small as I prefer fishing bigger waters but 2 acres isn't really that small.

  • nice perch mate..theres perch to 6lb in my venue ive been told buddy. larton fisheries here in the wirral buddy tight lines.

  • are you going to give the perch another go this winter mate

  • @thecarpdude Yep, gonna the Perch another bash this year, see if I can't get one closer to 4lb.

But being more realistic if I get anything over 2lb I'll be well happy.

  • @ninelives9999 hiya pal im a new fisherman cos im only 15 but im devoted to fishing i go everyweek but i cant seem to catch any decent perch what would you suggest to use with the feeder. ive been told to use worm plz message back

  • If you get chance, can you recommend perch baits for a large, clear water, shallow lake with eels which I want to avoid? Just worms?

  • @bubb95 I would suggest fishing small dead baits or prawns but I can't suggest how to avoid the Eels as they seem to like everything Perch like.

  • @ninelives9999 how about lob worms or spinners are they any good ?

  • @600conormc They working the right conditions, spinners are out of the question for white springs tho and they ain't allowed.

  • at 4:20 ish i was thinking for so long, just put it back in the fucking water

  • Went up to White Springs last weekend (26th June) for the firs time after the perch. We tried the old canal and the pit on a 24 hour ticket. Great venue, but no big perch this time, though I had a few up to half a pound. I tried with lobs, red maggot and prawn, but couldn't keep the small carp away. Had some lovely, good sized bream too. Will def be back in autumn. My best perch is 2.5 pound from the taff feeder in Cardiff on lobworm. Next trip to White springs will hopefully smash this.

  • @Sheepshaggingtaff When I done the video I hit it on a good day, as you said normally you have to get through a good few Carp before you see a Perch.

  • why have u got a keepnet when u are putting them back

  • @elliebabe1999 I was going to use the keepnet but didn't like putting bigger Perch in the keepnet, in hindsight I wish I had used it as I could have had a photo with both the 3lb 2 and 2lb 8 Perch. I doubt I'll have a chance like that again in a long time.

  • Very beatiful fish!

I hope to catch a big perch this summer here in Sweden were the national record is 6.614 pounds :)

My personal best is waaaaay bellow that :D

  • big perch,lovely fish

  • sorry for all the coments but i have only just found your vids an am watching them all so you may get a few more yet lol

my biggest perch if you will belive it came to me when i was carp fishing, i was just free lineing a floating dog mixer an a perch took it, just over 3 pounds it was

  • No problem, every comment is welcome.

  • gotta love the welsh accent (is that spelt right) I think welsh girls sound so sexy an they are very pritty. good stuff fella

  • Nice one dude, keep chasing those pb records.

  • I notice these perch have humps on the back, the perch I'm catching don't -maybe because I'm catching yellow perch - check out my videos

  • not bad bro, just went perch fishing yesterday caught around 200....I'm from Ontario, Canada. I was wondering if these perch are the same species..GOOD FISHING BRO

  • Cheers for the comment, the fish are Perch or European Perch, the Perch in your video are Yellow Perch they are classed as two different species but very similar.

I've noticed that only the bigger ones seem to have the hump.

  • I was just wondering where you are from and if this is where you were fishing in the videos. I also liked the spot your Dad caught the pike. Is this the same area?

  • lol its me with the Pike, do I really age that much when I don't shave :)

I live in Swansea in Wales in the UK and thats where I do most of my fishing but Pike fishing does usually involve a bit of traveling to some of the old canals.

  • lol, oh sorry about that....I just went by the title....anyway your videos are great. If I ever get over there I will have to look you up and if you are ever here - look me up. I will post some more of my videos. I live right on lake erie - walleye or pickerel capital of canada.

  • Cracking perch mate, congrats on the p.b!

  • Cheers mate, well pleased with it.
