The message was pretty clear to me, "be careful when defending against bullies and don't become one yourself." Control of any situation is key for defense of your body but control of your mind is key for defense of your true self not to be corrupted by hate and anger.

@srg118 Well I can explain that, Curtis is one of Jason's Students. Judging by the dialogue they seem to know each other well enough. Second he is a beginner student judging by his sloppy attempts at hitting Jason. He is mad for two reasons, one he thought that Jason's class was a good idea to handle stress but failed to understand how or two, he got beat up by another bully and blamed his lack of fighting experience on his teacher.
