  • I have 35% rakeback on pokerview, my very own vip hostess. Also get lots of freerolls

  • Why the fuck did he only bet 5 million on the flop then? Half the pot? Seem like most bet that amound, making it so damn easy to float gutshots and shit. Bet the god damn pot ffs if you are going all the way anyway on a drawheavy board

  • JENGA!

  • this guy fired 3 bullets with rag many times and hitting runner runner something to beat the opponent and what goes around comes around

  • Very unlucky for Mat. I hope he will win the event one time.

  • poor affleck

  • In terms of money lost, that is quite possibly the worst beat in the history of the WSOP. I mean, from having 20% of the chips in play to out in 15th, that's got to be nearly 2 million dollars in equity lost because of that river card.

  • Feel very sorry for Matt...i would also have all-in...sigh ...hopes he can get to the final table this year

  • Dreams crushed at 5:10 .... sucks for him.

  • My conclusion is that Duhamel when Matt goes all in the Devil appear and said to him "Give me ur soul and I give u the card u need to win"... all we know what happen next...

  • I can't stand Duhamel, or that little fucking smirk he makes after the river. Asswipe.

  • fn cry baby

  • What would piss me off would be,, duhamel saying.. you got Q's or 10s... and still calling...

affleck looks heart broken,, I reckon if he would of won this hand, he would of gone on to win the main event....

bet he feels robbed of 9Mirrrionnnnn

  • I would have come back to the table too. I just would have had a flamethrower.

  • The only way Matt wasn't losing that hand was a push on the flop, I can't see JJ thinking they are best in that situation on the flop. Preflop, he may have still called a re-raise all in.

  • JENGA!

  • There is always an element of luck in poker. Every has done bad beat or taken bad beat. I don't agree with Affeck's reaction.

  • @achoiusa ridiculous reply lol, I'm sorry but I would love to see YOU in that situation reacting ''normaly''

  • I think Matt played that hand very well. Just a bad river. Well thats poker there's still so much of luck you need.

  • @purlet1175

Allright sir... can we play soon my FTP ID is cagrin1515 :)

    And yep

I heard people talking all over their FB wall that you could make an account using the promo code AMERICAS @ Full Tilt Pokers web site.

  • CANDIOOOOOO!!!

  • even if Matt the BIG CRY BABY thought Duhamel had KINGS all Duhamel needed was a Jack to carack Aces!!!BAD ALL IN & a SORE LOSER!!!Funny how NO Players that AFFLACK cracked acted in HIS MANNER!!!!

  • LMFAO!!!!This was SOOOOO GREAT!!!Screw NORM &his Godson,Douche. What a CryBaby!lol,Aces IS over rated,& a dumb move all in to boot. With them cards showing & holding Aces u NEVER call ALL IN!!!Any1 who thinks yes is purely Kosher

  • NO AFFLECK, NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Of course the 8 comes, of course.

  • am i the only one who thinks duhamel is really bad?

  • @erMotxaloss i think u r

  • tissue box please

  • Matt got out of the Donk eventual winner his all in called... He didn't deserve such a bad beat... but then again, Duhamel shouldn't of called in that spot surely. The Donk!

  • extreme bad play by duhamel.. such immature play at the top of the race.. cant believe he is the world champ.... feel really bad for Matt.. he did every single thing right and pulled all the chips with the best hand but duhamel was such a retard to make that call.. sorry champ you dont deserve the championship with such bad play and such a bad suck out... Real big respect for Matt on the way he handled it cause i would have broken duhamel's face right there or asked him how retarded he was...

  • Comment removed

  • unlucky matt there.

but it also shows how bad a player duhamel is....

yet he is world chump........ sorry world champ ;-)

  • i almost cried for Matt.....

  • Comment removed

  • @RedSunCZE FUCK YOU MAN FUCK YOU

  • i cant understand why fat affleck was crying? arent there any 24-hour mcdonalds in vegas?

  • How many times have we seen AA blown away in this tourney?

  • fuck u duhamel!

  • so sick on matt

  • Well considering Duhamel has won it all, that makes me puge once more and for all, can t believe that, i haven t seen the final table yet but i guess he pounded one or two players with his special move, the bully bet....

  • gotta love poker :)

  • Poor Matt... gonna feel bad for the guy

  • 5:11 look at his face change its some serious funny shit lmfao how can u not crack up

  • 5:11 look at his face change its some serious funny shit lmfao

  • Matt I´m with you Bro, this is unbelievable, you played perfect in this Wsop. I feel your pain and go to the next Wsop in 2011. :). GO GO GO MATT.

  • Matt, I feel your pain, hang in there bro

  • That was a sick call. but sometimes you know and you call. Sometimes that "know" is really just "want" and you lose. But when it's right you win. That's poker.

  • AA can be beaten by 2 pair, 3 of kind, straight...all those were on the board!!! affleck did not have that strong of a hand against that board

  • @hellahotdude You're retarded. Why would EVEN Duhamel 4-bet with a pair of 9's or 10's? That's just dumb.

  • @RetroTM retard he had a straight

  • @hellahotdude .. On the fucking River, yes. Not on the turn idiot.

  • @hellahotdude so from ur point of view, Duhamel could have 4bet it with 99, 1010, 8J (funny one) or KJ (another funny one). Dude, u seriously have problems reading the betting patterns, yeah sure there are straight possibilities on the board on flop and turn, but there s no way Duhamel can have 8J or KJ. about the medium pairs, i don t think he would have 4bet out of position against a big stack. The only hands Matt could be worried of are JJ QQ or KK, actually he only fears a set of QQ on turn

  • @scoubidoubiboy I doubt hellahotdude understands what you mean.

If there's a flop of A 3 4 and hellahotdude holds 22, he'd probably shove on the turn. Lmao

  • @scoubidoubiboy 1010= TT

  • AFFLECK IS THE MAN. DUHAMEL IS GOOD AND JUST LUCKY THAT TIME. GOOD CALL COZ HE HAD SO MANY DRAWS AND QUITE COMMITED, SICK MOVES.

  • 07:47 duhamel says "bad call man..."?

  • i would like to know what hand Duhamel thought Affleck could shove with for 11.6m that his jacks could beat. Duhamel called off 60% of his stack when he knew there was no way he was ahead or even getting the right price. Those players make me sick. And for Matt, many people would be throwing swear words all over the place and going on a tirade, Matt handled it pretty well. You go, Matt!

  • @TheTheEpic1 ....I think what Duhamel asked him after he called was " 10´s and 9´s", feel for matt but he needs to man up

  • @TheTheEpic1 @TheTheEpic1 ....I think what Duhamel asked him after he called was " 10´s and 9´s", feel for matt but he needs to man up

  • @TheTheEpic1 yeah thats call the gamble some times if you want to win much money you need to take risk

of course duhamel believed that was behind in the hand at some point but go for it and beat him...TO WIN BIG YOU HAVE TO MAKE BIG RISK SIMPLE MATHS!

  • @TheTheEpic1 I thought he said "tens and nines" after he called. so he needed a queen, seven, king, eight or jack. 16 outs to the river out of 46 possible cards is a little better than three to one, which is the price he was getting. not a great call but more forgiveable than it seemed imo

  • @TheTheEpic1 Duhamel played that mostly right. Affleck simply didn't know that you don't allow players to improve against your aces.

  • i wish it was phil helmuth instead of matt I feel bad for matt but if it was phil that would be epically funny

  • I want to start seeing Matt affleck on these other tv shows now. Like poker after dark, and The big game.....I think he is one of the best players now.

  • hahahahahaha delighted for matt thinks he knows it all anyone hear him when johnny chan got knocked out delighted hes out

  • I can't understand.

    Such a bad call.

    That's so sick.

  • Omg... wtf is this piece of *!#!$% Duhamel, fricken luckbox.

I mean... it happens to me all the time idiots like that getting luck... but on such a deep run on the Main Event... that's was so unfair.

  • pot commited on the turn....relloollll

  • Duhamel saw the flop and knew he was going up against a big hand but when the queen hit the turn he was pot committed and made the right call..

But Affleck is a great player plays very tight and aggressive when he has a hand but bad beats happens like they said that was the river card of the tournament.

  • @luckijvaj pot committed.? what the hell are you talking about? i mean, do you even play this game?

    cheers.

  • I don't understand what people below just said, that affleck played bad, he should have seen a river before he went all in...

WHAT? Come on, he made amazing appearances both, 09 and 10, that guy with JJ just got miracle card. the way he played JJ is awful, Affleck made reraise to his JJ and played that one really good, he made him think and know that he has better pair then duhamel had. if you ask me, he should have mucked his JJ after the flop.

  • Poor bastard!

  • affleck played the hand well and duhamel made a bad call...BUT affleck made a horrible money management decision...he went all in with 2 straights on the board!!! he just needed to call down to the river

  • Total respect for Matt Affleck, he's an excellent poker player

  • wow I cried for him. Just felt so bad for him.

  • Matt Affleck <3

  • very nice tournament performance by matt.

very mature game, actually, i was surprised to see the kind of game he has been playing this entire tourney. extremely strong and very creative, he truly has been one of the very best of this 2010 main event.

there's nothing too discuss about that huge hand. is pretty much there.

  • You have to feel for him.

    A life changing moment.

  • Der ärmste, mein tiefes Beileid

  • Bad play from affleck..........com oonnn!!!!! This is deep stack tournament, Duhamel started the hand with 125BB and Affleck 77BB, they're not playing a sit Ngo, they are too deep to shove preflop. At least, u got to know a little about chips masses and meta game before saying he must have gone all in pre. This is good for a 10$ tourney or a 0.1/0.2 cash game limit but please........not when the average stack is more than 60BB....

  • Comment removed

  • pot odds .. 11kk to call.. big pot with 30kk .. the bad play from affleck pre-flop .. i put him in AK .. bye bye affleck.

  • I have watched this over a 100 times now.. I still can't believe this..

  • nice smirk from duhamel at 5:16 xD poor affleck

  • @000urmyfriend are you kidding me? That was not slow playing aces. Duhamel is only calling a matt affleck 5 bet with kings minimum.(relative to stack sizes). Affleck flats because he knows duhamel has a big pair but unsure if he will call an all in. He extracts maximum value and completely owns duhamel. He got it all in the middle 80% fav with one card to come instead of 80%fav preflop he would have ripped the november 9 apart unlucky bud

  • LOL seeing this made me LOL XD

  • I don t agree with u jtemple985, there s no way duhamel would have called a 5 bet shove with jacks risking more than 2/3 of his stack, in that situation he would have instantly mucked, even though he's willing to gamble, he knew he was way behind against an all in preflop. At this stage of the tournament, u want to grind up, so flat call on a 4bet is suitable, shove isn t inappropriate but there is absolutely no value in doing that against the chipleader.

  • @scoubidoubiboy i agree. noway he calls preflop on a 5 bet. absolutely noway he calls pre if its shipped...

  • All Racener played this entire tournament was AK, KK and AA. Unbelievable he got this far. And lose the gum you disgusting bum!

  • @censortube09 Hes about the coolest dude i ever seen at a poker table...

  • @sneak108 If you think chewing gum with your mouth open is cool, then you yourself must not be that 'cool'.

  • @censortube09 Hes heads up for the title now. again chewing gum must be cool lol.....

  • darn, Duhamel got so lucky. way to go Matt. so proud of you coming back to the table.

  • oh okay. I see. I learned a new thing =)

  • Dear god look at Matts face when that 8 hit jesus. 5:08

  • Terrible suckout...at the worst possible time. This game is a cruel one, one big giant mindfk. If Affleck wins the pot, he's making it to the final table with a very nice chip stack, possibly as leader, If he loses hes out....what a crzy swing for anyone to handle. At least he will be tougher because of it...ya built some character kido, a nice dose of humility slapped right across your face. Keep goin strong.

  • @yarduu he kinda played that hand terribly. if you think about it he could definitely five betted but he chose not to with his aces. are u kidding me? he kinda deserved it.. never slow play ur aces!

  • @0000urmyfriend In poker you try to maximize your winnings when u know you have the best hand....and the way the action went down, aflleck read him as having KK or QQ. He had no reason to show the strength of his AA and set himself up to extract maximum profit. He played it perfectly....and got extremely unlucky, which is a part of the game.

  • Fuck everyone who says anything bad about Matt or this hand. It's like someone who doesn't have kids speculating on what it feels like to be a parent. We all just cannot understand the agony of this hand. I got goosebumps watching that beat. If that shit happened to me and destroyed my dream(s), I wouldn't have handled it that well. Matt is a good guy and that shit really sucks

  • Matt is a dam good player, who every says some bad about him is noob of poker.

give respect guys to a pro!

  • @vegasnutzz that was so sick hand lol matt play very good

  • Love poker? Join our group "Poker lovers" on Facebook.

  • i felt for him i really did.

  • Matt played the hand well, but I do believe he needs to work on his composure. Oooh faaaa.

  • @rustytrombone1027 I think he actually dealt it pretty good... man if I were that close to winning the main event and gets that brutal suck out on the cost of my whole tournament, I would just flip the table over and go nuts.. lol.. he at least came back to shake hands right..? =)

  • unlike those posts above, I really do not think the comment ranges here are as polarized as CDS makes them out to be.

I think Metagaming my response to get across the child like reaction mAAtt had to his OBVIOUS bad beat is the correct play

    :-P

  • wow, he looks crushed , quivereing lips, tears, you dont deserve that kid, but you become good when you are able to bounce back, you have that in you , you will be a star and win many bracelets, you have a unique talent, good work kid

  • Getting your chips in with the best hand is easy , getting your OPPONENTS chips in when your holding the best hand is what makes the game tough and Matt did exactly that - so when people say he played it badly it just shows what donks they really are

  • @nebblu He played it like a genius

  • Matt Afleck is one of the best players ever!!!!

  • 1:54 the start of the end

  • respect for coming back to the table...

  • got to admit i didn't like at all few plays of Affleck, especially when lost over half of his stack just on the draw in the previous episode, but this time he played the hand perfectly, very well done... he showed so much maturity for coming back there and shake the hands. You retards who comment here have no idea what kind of emotions there are on ME, and it's nothing wrong if he cries, i do not even know if I were him i might have reacted the same way.

  • @CelticGladiator7 eat shit u goo that deep 2 years in a row

  • @emu326 now you swallow my cum and you'll win it all

  • i couldn't stand seeing affleck's face anytime in the former episodes of wsop 2010. it was indeed a bad beat, but it happens.

Now i want dolan (or nolan). i hate his face too.

The both have this arrogance drawn allover their faces, that's an instant hate factor.

Even if you are the best player, once you cry you are a loser (cristiano ronaldo in football for example)

  • Another cruel suckout is that 22.73% of the time you have to listen to morons theorizing on how badly the hand was played.

  • wtf u talking about?????????????so much noonsense,u know nothing about poker

  • I've seen countless bad beats at ALL levels of play... understandably disappointed and being a whiny crying baby are two regrettably, although very distinct, differences. Man up and be a professional mAAtt. this is the biggest argument against letting children play professional sports/competition.

    mAAtt played that hand terribly...

  • @Schubeedoobee You sir, are a fucking retard.

  • He was already laughing when the river was dealt.

Best moment in poker, seeing that smug grin disappear and get replaced by dispair and disappointment

  • EPIC FACE 5:12

  • @Shiryu182 no more baby back ribs!!!???? lol im kiddin dont be mean!!! that was brutal!

  • wow, i ve been cheerin for Duhamel but that was brutal, i dont think affleck was playin any hands in order to get to the november nine but unlucky for him he got AA and didnt held up....hope Duhamel wins the main event

  • You guys are absolutely right he brought his money in good. Ok I would have raised Allin Preflop if I was Matt just to not let sth like this happen but he played the hand perfectly! And imagine your dreams of winning 9 million dollars are getting crushed twice in a row!!! I would just cry and run out of the hall after that beat. Much Respect to Mr Affleck!

  • Thats poker folks.

  • Shit, i actually felt sick for Matt. No idea how i'd react....flip the poker table? part of the reason i dont play live

  • Imagine if that happened to Candio...! affleck was pretty reserved after losing out on almost certain millions... poor guy.

  • much respect for Matt Affleck from Greece.a great player

  • So guys, once again, it´s about luck in the right moments. Matt played the hand great, how to call 5k and more than 11 when you are beat by Qs, Ks and As as any set. Only luck, but the f..... seven days before are all but gone with one bad beat.

  • Duhamel is so f****** LUCKY i hate when guys win only on luck damn..

Matt is such a better player and has played both last and this year so amazing.

Same thing with Moon last year a better player lost its so sad to see that in poker!

  • WOW I can't believe Matt Affleck actually came back to shake everyone's hand, GREAT mature gesture, I would have just left......

  • CANDIO the best!!!!

  • duhamel four bets re-raise 4 million, if you five bet re-raise, it'll be instantly a big pot, pre-flop. you gotta keep the pressure on with pocket aces and kept re-raising pre-flop. if duhamel just call his 5 bet re-raise, i think the result would be the same coz duhamel was gambling as others had stated.

  • I cried for Matt

  • The funniest part is that Duhamel asked at the showdown if Affleck has 10s or 9s, so he s making the call knowing that he has to catch his draw to win the hand, which means he s willing to risk more than 2/3 of his stack on a 20% draw, getting crippled with 8M 80% of the time........Another knight in the wood guys, "fight with the sword, then die with it". Only Candio could have possibly made also that call, the others are too good to get involved with that. Please poker god, punish this gambler

  • duhammel, what a chump, show some respect to matt and stand up and appologize

  • @LawrenceJame to appologize for what? This is poker not a movie

  • Comment removed

  • argggg noooooo matt affleck is out :( stupid duhamel

  • lol fat bastard matt affleck ..... you duhammel owns !!!!!!!!!

  • @suculentinhu1 yo broski....duhammel can go fuck himself...he's a luckbox motherfucker who made a dumbass call when he knew he was behind....Matt Affleck deserved it more

  • Hate it when those defeated and embarrassed faces of Duhamel & Candio turn into smirks and lame celebrations.

  • @goldonion look at the goofy lucker face @ 6:40

  • Duhamel = Candio = Monkey calls = Lame dogs

    Great play Matt...

  • we're looking at the new phill helmuth, go home !!!

  • nice call duhamel. fuckin luckbox!

  • fuck matt he is a faggot he dont got the look of a poker player hes a cry baby real poker players dont cry after a lost they forget about it and go gamble some more i dont like that fat kid

  • @madtires I didn'tlike him either, but why is it so hard for you noobs to understand this wasn't just a normal tournament? "real poker players dont cry after a lost they forget about it" really they forget about it ?!? nobody was even in that spot with that many chips this year.

  • Just because Matt cried so he gained your sympathy? Give Duhamel some credits. He's behind but he's no Donkey, pretty sure he went further into the ME more than any of you who commented here.

  • @twndomn He may not be a donkey, but the way he butchered that hand, it would be easy to draw that conclusion. What is he beating with 1 card to come based on the way the hand was played? Affleck certainly isn't doing this with air. Duhamel even asked "9's or 10's". If he thought that, he's basically 80%+ underdog with 1 card to come. With all that's on the line at that point, there's almost zero chance JJ is ahead in that situation. Anyone who knows poker realizes sick that beat was.

  • matt the best player here

  • Unlucky Affleck, i thought he might win it. That was class him going back to the table after that crushing river card. It shows his quality of character and i have newfound respect for him as a player after seeing that because he was genuinely heartbroken. He will come back stronger no doubt, i wish him well next year if he plays.

  • Wow, Duhamel gotta be the worst player ever to make a Main event final table.

Seriously, what the hell is he putting Matt on? He's not even getting the right potodds to call with his draws.

  • Duhamel is a classic calling station showdown monkey. He's great for the money making potential of decent players, because just by being on TV he'll draw more math-challenged adrenaline junkies back to the tables.

  • Reading the comments about Matt Affleck I get the feeling some people are watching a different WSOP from me. He's made two consecutive deep runs in the WSOP which is an amazing achievement and got his money in good here only to be crucified by the river. He was obviously crushed but still got himself together to return and show his respect to the table so as not to leave on bad terms. Much respect, well played.

  • @Alceste1977 well said man

  • @Alceste1977 I especially love that $2m call when he had K high and shouted "9, 7!" LOL.
