The point of this video is to get rid of spiders in your house / patio area, in which case shooting it with a shotgun would likely destroy a shitload of stuff and the pellets would recoil and hit you. Plus, why the hell would you kill something smaller than an inch with a shotgun? That's just stupid.

The recoil of the gun would just blow you to the ground, plus it being very heavy and expensive. If I wanted to kill a spider with something because I'm EXTREMELY bored, I don't just waste 15 K on a flamethrower. Just need a candle and some spray.
