If you stop at the 'Give Way' you could pick up a 'Driver Fault' (Minor Fault) for 'Undue Hesitation'. Why stop if there's nothing coming? I would expect a student to show good control skills by creeping up to the junction with the clutch, only using the hand or foot-brake if we needed to give way.
If you were to tell your part 3 examiner 'Don't try and use peep and creep, stop at the give way' what grade would that get you?
MINIMUM LOOK RIGHT LEFT RIGHT.. nice. You have to look left again anyway because you're emerging left. That sounds a lot less complicated than saying RIGHT LEFT RIGHT LEFT, also anything more than a mimum look can be a start (from parked) observation. Nice and simple it's good.
