What a beautiful song by a beautiful man. I met Merrill back in the 70's and subsequently went to his concerts. I also have all of his tapes as well as his book (Tested by Fire). And what did he do for me besides inspiring me? Well whenever difficult times come along, he is always the first thing that enters my mind...which always leaves me counting my blessings. You know, it could be worse. What a testimony he is is too.
When I was a young man Merrill visited our church, he presented a slide show, a chronicle of what he suffered through, and then he sang for us. I remember wondering how such a powerfull and beautiful voice could come out of his mouth, he could barely open it because of his accident. He truly is an amazing man with an amazing testimony.
Beautiful! Were so blessed by Merrill and his wifes testimony and this music is incredible!! What a voice preserved through the tremendous heat of the fire of a plane crash!! Nothing short of a miracle!!
