Can somebody tell me when it is int the Word of God where it says "The battle/race is not given to the swiff nor to the strong, but to he that endureth to the end!!! Its not in there so what are we preaching lying and saying the "Bible says" this. Just Like the Most FAMOUS LIE "WHEN PRAISES GO UP BLESSINGS COME DOWN""!!!!! WHAT MANNER OF FOOLISHNESS IS THIS?

If I may: In my area it is done to make sure that the people are playing a attention but I do agree with you. I can be WAY too much, but most of the time with me good preaching I hardly ever notice it. It only gets bad when you have bad preacher.

Brothers and sisters have you ever read the psalms when they say let the house of israel say so and so and now let the house of Jacob say thus and so... Its an encouraging thing. I agree its cliche. However sometimes people in the church need that inter-action. Oh yeah for your ref. Psalm 118, 124, 129 and many more. that sounds like tell yo neigh eh eh bor to me :) I don't do it but if the word is delivering and destroying the evil yokes these matters are void. Like I said I'm not hating. Trust me I've known about Jonathan Ellis for about 15 years now, and I know he can preach. All I'm saying is that the forefathers of the P.A.W. (Bishop Bowers, Bishop Golder, Bishop Paddock) rarely if ever said "tell your neighbor and it seemed like God was definitely moving back then. Everyone knows the Ellis clan can preach, all I'm saying is it gets a little distracting.

Man I'm not trying to hate but is anybody getting tired of "tell yo' neighbor" preaching? He must say "tell your neighbor", "grab your neighbor", "tell the devil", etc. maybe 20 times in this 8 minute clip! What happened to flatfooted preaching the WORD of God and not looking for approval?

I've heard sm preachers say they hv the ppl do it 4 ntraction among the ppl. Sm hv sadi they do it to keep ppl awake during the message. As we all know ppl will sleep on the preacher. It's just smthng that sm1 started & has bn picked up & continues. But it still does snd like he's flatfooted preaching that text tho. I agree with you jeter81 as far as not trying to hate, bcz he does keep them mvng with each other a lot.

its just away people preach. if people get tired of that, why dont they get tired of the word since most of the word has been here for a very long period of time. i cant stand those who try to follow trend or come up with something just so others will follow. preach it how you feel it and not how others
