  • Iam pro stihl husqvarna are sposed to be beter power to weight ratio and lighter but stihl are more robust easyer to work on easyer to find and buy cheaper parts for. Husqvarna are good but iama die hard stihl fan and this video is a little biast.

  • will wait for it to get out and have some abuse in the real world before i make my opinion, traditionaly husky tophandled saws have been plasticy bits of rubbish, especially when compared with the Stihl MS200 which is an awesome workhorse, but is sadly going to be phased out by the mixed reviewed MS201, I think Husqvarana need to work out on their Auto tune as alot of folk i know with the Auto tune experience problems with the running of the saws

  • The stihl sounds better. Plus aborist saws would not encounter that much saw dust. The stihl is mutch better this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. STIHL

  • @4675797 with just shy of then years of climbing experience, i disagree with that statement, especially when using saws on large dismantles and sappy trees such as pine and spruce

  • Husqvarnas' new top handled saws are due early 2012 in the UK, try and find a new MS200t now... Grab em while you can... Future classic?

  • Flamer**

  • Wow u honestly think stihl the best well obviously your a flamet because stihl cant even come close to the performance of husqvarna

  • @PSNCnation Husqvarana saws are nice to use but lack the reliability of the Stihls, Those i know who have the new Husqvarana Auto tune on their saws all have had trouble with it after 20hours and many agree though they are good to use you need to fix them more, and these guys are Swedish, the home of Husqvarna!

  • id rather have my stihl run better, last 20 years, and OIL RIGHT!!!!!! than have better air filtration

  • @bbplayer546 clean out your oil pump then! remove the clutch bearing, and worm drive, and the pump just pulls off spray some WD down it, works fine. This is the most common problem i have encountered with MS200's not oiling correctly

  • Stihl is the best thats why husky can only outmatch the air filtration big whoop husky will never be better than stihl face it.

  • stihls r the best

  • Stihl is better

  • @swampygum the t435 is junk you're right I bought a jonsered 2139t (just a red and black 338xpt)and put a 2nd exhaust port on it and its a pretty bad little saw now look at rbtree video of it comparing it to a 200t

  • nice, 560xp

  • At the end of the day, clogged air filter or not, the 200T still out performs the huskies easily, just listen to the 540 dying just as it was started. I have a T435 and it was the biggest waste of money on a saw so far. It's always needing re tuned and almost no guts. I bought a second hand 200T from an auction, and it is an awesome saw. No problems, hasnt been in the shop once in 7 months, also had a 338XPT which suffered a busted crankshaft, still much less powerful than the 200T.

  • yeah just rub it in there thats how i use my saw. i carry handfuls with me while cutting i find it much safer that way. next is the under water test.

  • @aca319ca hahaaha...i thought i was the only one who did that!!

  • HUSQVARNA is the KING

  • New husqvarna saw due week 26!

  • It is a typical situation when trimming high in a tree that handfuls of sawdust are forced into the air intake...

The MS200T outnumbers ALL the combined Husky/J-Red top handle saws in professional in tree use by a wide margin. The Elux saws aren't bad saws and in some ways are highly cost effective but they aren't getting the pro arborist sales like Stihl, centrifugal air filtration or not.

  • Just get the machine on release in the uk so we can have a true industry based opinion ??????????????????

We heard romours about this saw would like to try one.

  • mostlu*

  • @Andakar stihl has easy2start technology also stratified motors, arborist saws and mid range saws with hard reinforced frames better combustion good fuel consumption eco friendly and are number one selling saw in america to where unless buy a pro husqvarna saw i wouldnt waste my cash huskys are made mistly by poulan now and have stupid turbo torq fans that burn ur engine up really fast

  • Comparing a 2011 Husqvarna with a Stihl that is designed in 1980's is really not a fair way to make business. Compare it with the new 201T released mid 2011 (in Sweden at least) instead.

  • @Noniz as far as I know several people were complaining about the "bad performance" Husqvarna should have in arborist equipment... but now they use Air Injection on the new series with even better performance compared to other brands... lets see what Stihl is presenting next ;o)

  • The guy presenting this saw looks like Arian Essenstam to me btw?

  • Simplicity works for me, when servicing myself. Stihl had the better saw for a long time, concerning these small climber's machines, though I like the Husky's a bit better concerning the bigger felling saws. I like seeing the new 560xp/562xp in action too btw! I hope they aren't overengineered into something that has to be sent away to the factory when a part breaks. I'd love to try one out, they seem to be great machines!

  • I think his point is that the 200T needs an unfiltered air bypass to keep going. Unfiltered air means faster wear on the rings, bearings, and cylinder wall. We all know the price of Stihl parts vs. Huskie parts. While its a slight inconvenience to tap out my Calif. 338XPT's air filter every fillup, I'm used to it, and they run and run and run. I'm also used to both my 45 cc top handle Huskies with 16 inch bars. I've heard it said, Swedish design is simple and German is sophisticated.

  • I'll bet $1000 that the 200T with the plugged air filter will still outcut the baby Husky. And that's coming from somebody who owns a half dozen Huskys. But you guys keep on coming up with implausible scenarios to try and make your saw look better than the competition without actually comparing them.

  • Should have compared the T540 and 200T in wood making cuts. Thats what we want to see.
