  • You could just leave a small space unstitched in that section (rather than the whole side) and turn it right side out through the gap. it will make for a cleaner edge and much easier topstitching.

  • pretty i usually line u the side edge with the edge of the fabric then adjust the needle position so it sews where i want it.

    i find it easier to keep straight that way

    you canbuy a quarter inch foot whichworks well

  • just sew the whole thing closed leaving a 2 inch or so opening then afterward pull it inside out then you only have a 2 inch opening to close. and you won't be fooling with the edges for 30 minutes getting it straight. very cute!

  • I can't believe you just started sewing!!! I have been sewing for years and still make mistakes so that is so fine...You did a wonderful job and no one would know you just started sewing!!! I want to start quilting now!!!! Thank you for all of your hard work sewing nor scrapbooking isn't easy but becomes easier with time!!!
