  • What a nerd! He sounds like a total nerd. Is my asshole chiral?

  • for example 1,4-bromocyclohexane

  • whait a second... not all chiral molecules are enantiomers...

  • The pen is NOT achiral!!! It has no plane of symmetry. The front of the pen is not the same as the back. You had to turn the pen around to make it "look" achiral.

  • great video!...I dont know why mindless people are commenting on it, but those of us with brains you just helped thank you!

  • geez did you buff your nails before this vid?

  • the pen is achiral when oriented vertically and chiral when oriented horizontally

  • What are your models built of ?

  • I think if you were to do this video again, you should probable juswt put a strip of electrical tape on the desk, so you dont have to keep explaining that you are referring to a mirror image. Other than that it was a veryeasy to understand video

  • The scientific terms are pretty hard If English isn't your motherlanguage

  • This is incorrect. The pen is chiral as well.

  • @gumdrop3000 No,the pen has a line of symetry.

  • What I dont get is when you did your hands you placed one over the other and they didnt match up. but for the pens you fliped one so it fit... If you didnt then the writing part would of been matched with the end of the other and make them not fit over each other?...

  • One pen can be rotated along the plane of the table 180 degrees. Also flipping your hands and putting your palms together is not superimposible.

  • @paintballin101 I guess its because even if you flip your hand around so it overlaps the front of your hand is different than the back of your hand.

  • thanks!

  • its short and sweet! love it, thank you

  • great!!!

I dont understand very good the english but I understand most of this video... chirality in spanish is quiralidad or better than the molecules are called "quirales"
