I don't feel that this film beats you over the head with it's messages. Everything seems to be in the background. No characters ever say "It's our fault for doing this because we littered to much" The result of our ways is simply shown and that is in no way beating you over the head with it. That message of overconsumerism of course didn't really go across to us, since every mall I've seen for the past month is filled with new lcd screens. You got those on the vending machine, in front of stores, in the middle of the passageways, when you turn to another passageway, at the customer desks, at the kiosks... etc. etc. It's overwhelming lol. Every time I looked at the vending machine, and the same thing that came into mind was "Machine looks nice. I need to get myself some soda lol"
