man i would love to go fishing with you up here in erie im in mentor hanvent been able to hit the water yet can you give me a idea for a good set up for some nice small mouths maybe walleye or pike if you fish them
Hey I just came across your videos! Good stuff. :)
I'm moving to downtown Columbus from a small town in Indiana and I'm used to fishing every day. I don't own a boat, and I'm having trouble locating places close by that I can fish. Have any ideas for a boatless angler in Columbus? :/
Start at the dam on Big Walnut Creek below Hoover. Each time fish a new section going down until reaching the Scioto River. It'll take months to complete the task but, its worthwhile. When reaching the Scioto an understanding of the Creek itself can be gained. Seeing the beauty and scenery and the not so good things that the Creek endures is important. One who understands the creek fishes the whole length of it a once thinking through to the best spot for any given day.
@GodsGreatOutdoors i know im not joe but one way i found that was easy to walk the dog was to leave a spall loop when you tie the bait on and let the bait do the work just twitch it
There is a special knot I use called the king Sling. It gives the bait more freedom to move from side to side. Walking baits move to a rhythm as you pop the rod tip to move the bait from side to side. One must become aware of that rhythm and use it to help keep the bait working. It's just like the words in a song. If you work the bait to the right tune even the finicky fish become hypnotized by the action.
Hey joe, i was wondering if you had in hard bait reccomendations for catching small and large mouth bass. thanks. (:
