Nothing special. Just an M-Audio Fast Track MKII. Some new advice to get even better tones than this clip: Use the German/Recto2 cab. On Mesa amps turn down the master to 3,5.
Thank you for the kind reply! Im really impressed you got that sound quality out of the fast track, i thought it would be an apogee, rme or something else. Been wondering what to buy and thanks to your vid it seems to me i might have been overthinking the whole thing. Not that mic pres and converters dont matter but they might not for my home studio and the purpose it was built for.
Hi Clark! I recently bought an axe for my home studio. May i ask you what youre recording setup is? in other words how you have the axe hooked to the DAW?
Bulb is great and there are times when I make material which is pretty close to his but I wouldn't consider this to be one of those songs. I haven't been doing prog music for a year or so... but the influence will always be with me. :)
This is sick man

Sounds like one of those digitech pedals. Like a Digitech RP-90. Not bad.

That was fairly tasty. Abso-nice recording and mix. Not hot on the Orange lead tone - still too vintage, and not enough grease on it.
Now just study some Bach, and do something really rad.
