  • can i connect u46mk2 with traktor using timecodes? thanks!

  • hi, might sound dumb but does anyone know how i would go about connecting turntables to a vci like he's done!?

  • connect the tables to a external soundcard and thats it. this set up is not worth it in america. Mixvibes is awesome and its perfect to start with but when you're ready to do clubs you wont see this software. i had the same exact setup and ended up switching to serato.

  • now i have a question that makes sense can he use that timecode setup without the mackie d2 mixer on the side.

  • yeah just use a soundcard...

  • look up time code dj

  • how does he connect those stuff all together?

  • how the hell does he play his decks through this?

  • why is he using a mackie d2 and a U46MK2 at the same time? i know the mackie can record the audio but wouldn't that mean he wouldn't need the U46MK2, or simply because it's a prduct from mixvibes? If its the latter why is the mackie d2 there?

  • nice crabs there 0.0

  • I just don't get why to use vestax with turntables, just like a mixer and soundcard......I think esi DJ 46 and dj decks is better solution....but anyway, this midi controller looks pretty cool:) thinking about buying it and selling my serato scratch with decks...

  • It's good dont get me wrong but he does'nt look like he's enjoying it much.

  • He always looks stoned. haha.

  • How do u attach turntables to this?

  • You don't it's just a controller, it's basically a keyboard with a different layout, so yeah, he's just got the whole standard timecode thing going(notice the real mixer off to the left behind the tv) then he just plugs in the vestax through USB and has that control traktor or whatever software that is(I use teh VDJ so I don't really know/care about traktor scratch live and the rest of em.)

  • does the vestax work with VDJ? i use it too and im thinkin either the vestax VCI-100 or the hercules DJ console...

  • I don't really know cuz I don't have the funding to get one yet(scraping together $600 for a laptop, I'm 13 it's not too easy.) but yeah, aparently from what forums say, the jog works, but not scratch.

  • yeah im 14...pretty much in the same boat. except i think ill go for the hercules bcoz its made for VDJ and i know it works with the....version...i have ;)

  • yes, it does but there are some things lacking.

I have a VCI-100 for sale. message me

  • how much?

  • Yeah, I want vci-100 to run wit VDJ, but since it doesn't, I'm just gonna "downgrade" to a pair of stanton tables, lol(getin dj lab.2), even with the vdj timecodes and the audio card, it still comes out to just under the price of teh vci-100 :/

  • It doesn't need a hamster switch. You'd just assign a button to invert the value that the crossfader is sending.. It's MIDI.

  • yess! i remember this, dope

  • its pretty dope no hamster switch yet though!

  • very nice.

cant wait until this piece of hardware (vci-100) comes out.

  • fucking sick
