I'm hoping there will be no more land shifting in Centex lots...they certainly don't need anymore bad situation like the recent slope failure.

I've covered the story extensively on my website. It was shocking to watch how quickly the land moved.

Some Realtors® may tell you it's a great time to buy, but there are many of us out there who actually disagree with the National Association of Realtors® take on that phrase. You know when it's a great time to buy? When it's right for YOU.

There are many factors out there right now that make it beneficial if you are to buy (low interest rates, available inventory, and pricing are great examples), but if you are not ready to buy and do so, it always ends in a bad way.

Low interest rates are bad. I say that because the rates are not normal and that the fed is trying to jump start the economy with near zero rates. When they go up, due to inflation, the value of homes will go down. It is simple math.

As I've noted above, it seems my comments aren't posting properly.

The permit is a big issue, but both the city and the builder should have known better on that in my opinion. What bothers me more is that permit or not, the wall should have been built better - period. Whether inspectors or engineers could have stopped it from happening in the first place is the real question. One that I guess will be debated for a long time.

i believe you should rethink the video on these homes..last we heard here in san antonio the perimeter walls had fallen apart and these poor folks were moved out of their homes...re think the issue on representing this contractor..

Just to be clear - I do not represent the builder. I am a Realtor® and would be representing the interests of the buyer if they were to buy one of these homes.

As you can see from my channel, I have many neighborhood profiles. With all that has happened in this neighborhood there has been little activity in it. If someone were to tell me they wanted to buy here, I would definitely disclose my knowledge of the events and point them to all the articles I and many others have written about it.
