I first saw Sammy and the crew at the Shakori Hills folk festival in 2008. I immediately fell in love, to say the least. They're a truly authentic band that expands past the typical "love lyric" and explores ballads of a more profound nature than most contemporary lyricists. I consider them one of the rare and true artists of modern music. Keep pumpin' those records out, Sammy!

you guys are pretty good. i'm from puerto rico and i discovered the band when my dad came back from a business trip to washington d.c. and he brought back some local newspapers and among them was express published by teh washington post. you guys should come on down you'd be surprised how many people will like you.
