Their conbversation sounds like the psycho-dynamic therapy approach, which the patient talk freely about we they think and release the bottom-heart-trouble.
In reality, this taxi driver do the correct thing. With a hijacking situation on an aeroplane, a pilot best weapon is the control wheel. the pilot can roll more than 80 degree to turn the aeroplane in large angle, so that the hijacker cannot hold his position and loss control of the cockpit/cabin. There werwe case that pilots did this.
This is pure masterpiece of Drama/Thriller genre. I like Tom Cruise but never found his acting versatile. In this film he showed brilliant/phenomenal acting. Real Tom Cruise.
Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith and Mark Ruffalo were great too. I don't know why but this movie reminds me a little bit "The Brave One" with Jodie Foster. Final scenes were intriguing and just awesome
You know, I think this movie might be kinda cool if the ending were at the beginning. It wouldn't be the same at all, but I think such a powerful scene might pave the way, in a lot of ways, for the rest of the movie.

I liked Collateral ALOT. I think Tom's best are Top Gun and Collateral. Also, Michael Mann directed this and he also directed Heat, another great crime movie.
Miami Vice is a piece of crap movie. What happend to the eighties? To the snobbish cops?
This is movies is on my top five list of the greatest movies of all times. Spike Lee has done a terrific job, and JF and TC play out the rolls perfectly. Five out of a scale of four.
I think the ending was excellent. Early in, Vincent states he hates LA - "a guy dies while on the MTA - nobody notices. So the viewer is left with Vincent dead on the MTA.
The best movie for TC & JF, though JF rocks in Miami Vice.
excellently done. i really liked the part where you merged the shot of Vincent finally dying on the subway with him sitting in the cab watching from the window. it shows how he's going aout his business like a professional, comnpletely unaware that he's going to die that night. really sums up his character. absolutely loved the film.
Well done, nice tribute.
