0-60 speed means nothing really, there are alot of variables to consider like how fast the driver shifts etc. The CGT is just a better engineered and faster car.

Well from what I just read online on MT & C&D, the CGT does 0-60 in 3.6 & the GT2 in 3.8. But this isn't 0-60 anyways, this is about 30-170, & a car not only engineered to be Porsche's Swan Song but also a car with 149 (605 vs 456) more hp definitely has better straight-line acceleration.

the gt2 is cool but i deff think the porsche to have is the carrera gt if you look at the specs the gt has much better braking considering that the acceleration is slower than the gt2 but the gt still has a good second on the 0-160-0 time over the gt2. its pretty clear the gt2 is all about straight line performance, which isnt really viable as far as real driving that people actually do.

Yea so theyre pretty close in about everything I just meant by the fastest and is the quickest and the gt2 is slighly quicker as you can see to 100km/h and its faster to 300km/h now top speed is 2km/h difference so I would say theyre like tied for fastest but I'd still prefer the gt2 due to its slick acceleration advantage and classic porsche look.

Strange. Evo magazine here in the UK compared the performance stats (0-30, 0-60, 0-100 etc) of the GT2 and the CGT and they were pretty much indentical. 993 was sold during 1993-1998

996 was sold during 1998-2004

997 is being sold from 2004 - present

within these models you have the types like carrera/2/4/2S/4S/turbo/All the convertibles of this kind/gt3/gt3rs/gt2/gt2rs

Are you kidding?? The thing I love about Porsche's is that they don't try to be Ferrari look alikes like just about everyone else. The 911 is HANDS DOWN the most iconic style of all time and looks NOTHING like any other car. The Carrera GT too is absolutely gorgeous.
