@playlifevr4 only reason why Kobe's pts per game isn't as high is because Kobe was one of the first guys who came out of high school. And back then when you come out of high school you weren't really given any respect, any chance to start & any chance to do much of anything. Kobe had to work extremely hard to get any playing time during those days when the Lakers had mutiple allstar guards in eddie jones, nick van exel, ac green, and etc. It shows you had good Kobe was to even get playing time.

@playlifevr4 So basically, the lack of playing time and opportunities didn't allow Kobe to score much during his first 3-4 years which would dramatically lower his Career Points Per Game Average. So knowing that in the early days when high school players didn't get the advantages and respect that a person such as a Lebron James or even a Kwame Brown gets to enjoy(both first round picks and both given to opportunity to start), it's amazing that Kobe even average 25.3pt in his career.
