no it wasn't. If you saw Howarang's ending of tekken 5, he was upset that he couldn't get his true fight with Jin. Jin turned to the devil and blew up howarang's motorcycle( with him still on it) and Howarang is coming back for his revenge. It all fits so it wasn't random at all.
