I have been drinking diet coke since i was 12 , i am now 28 and i drink a 2 liter a day.. it's sickening that i actually think i need this crap to keep me going. I have migraines daily, i have chronic fatigue and was diagnosed with pcos. I really need to get rid of this addiction but it's so hard.
@natesmom2244 yeah, i understand it can be hard. but focus on the life you can attain if you were not choosing a beverage over your health, your life, your energy, your happiness, etc.. it would be worth it for sure! maybe back off it slowly but surely and allow your body to go slowly away from the toxins and caffeine :)
@RawHealingPatch Hey it is called Diet for a reason, people drink diet because regular is so bad for you don't be a jerk and making up lies to say what they enjoy is bad....
@romans52345 wow, your soda seems to be creating some mood issues for you. calling people "jerks" on behalf of the almighty soda? interesting. in any case, if you choose to do some actual reading or research, you will see that "diet" sodas are not only toxic, they lead to eventual obesity because they damage numerous glands that help our hormones, amongst other things. start by reading the book "excitotoxins" and then relax. it's a free world and we can all share out thoughts.
@RawHealingPatch well it would not be on the market if it was bad for you in that case they will legalize cocaine as well...oh and another thing i think your herbal magic natural from the earth substances is affecting your attention span, I said "Don't Be a Jerk" i did not say you were one....
@romans52345 msg is on the market, and that is astronomically bad for you. once again, do your research before you leave comments on people's channels who are deeply EDUCATED on these topics. i prefer to communicate with people who are open to research and fact, and who do not use terms like "jerk" on my channel. I can get fresh ground stevia leaves here in Korea from a local botanical garden. However, most of the "stevia" products in the supermarket are a little bit of stevia mixed with glucose, fructose, etc. (Oh the things one learns when one learns to speak the language- haha). It was strange to see actual tv commercials for stevia when I was home (US) for the holidays.
Thanks for this!! I was sent a bunch of crystal light recently. Any ideas what to do with it? lol. I gave my splenda to a friend who still uses it! Thanks!!
crystal light is not good for anyone or anything. it would even sadden me to give it to the needy, as it will give them no necessary nutrients. but i suppose that is the best choice, maybe give it to a homeless person who drinks a bunch of beer all day long anyway, they would probably appreciate it! if not, dump the contents in the trash and recyle the container. :) you are doing great!
excellent question. if it is in its leaf form, straight from the plant, there should be no problem. there is fiber and nutrients there to balance all the sweetness, etc.. but for people who use the white stevia powders or refined steivas in large quantity, yes, it may have the same effect as the artificial sweeteners :) hope that makes some sense. nature is smart. eat the leaf whole! :)
thanks for all your videos-they are very educational and inspiring but I have just one question: how do you resist all the crap food. I'll eat raw for two weeks or so and feel amazing but then when a coworker makes cake or something I have some..then I'll have some soda with the cake....then I'll go home and maybe have chips ( I live with other people). Then next thing I know I'm back to feeling bad, gaining unnecessary weight and eating man made food. Its like an addiction! Any advice?
we do not ALWAYS resist temptation, just most of the time. we have gotten to the point that raw food is our main way of living, and sometimes there are exceptions. Doug graham's book "the 80-10-10 diet" perfectly explains and illustrates why raw foodists tend not to be successful long term on high fat raw gourmet food. we think this book is a must read for all people who have trouble sticking with things. have you read it? we are currently trying 80-10-10 raw vegan to see how we feel...
...cont'd... it is a challenge. fruit premoninantly, no salt, a few greens and VERY LOW fat from nuts and seeds and avocado. the opposite of how raw foodists generally eat which is high greens and enormous levels of fat. fat in the bllodstream keeps sugar from being able to enter the cell to be burned up, so we end up craving sugar and cooked carbohydrates, thus starting the binge on cooked or junk food. happens ALL the time. we have a link to the book on our amazon store at our website :)
you should DEFINITELY read the book. it is a must if you are going to try this approach. it explains everything and gets you on track to be sure you are taking in enough calories and nutrition. :) good luck if you decide to hop on it!
Dear, it is an addiction and until we completely detox from these foods we will still crave them! Dan said it well in a video a few weeks ago that everytime we eat these foods we create a new pathway that allows room for chemicals and cravings, addictive behaviors will continue as long as we allow these foods in our taste buds and bodies. In order to get off we must remove them from our bodies and lives. It's hard, I know, one food at a time though. Start with 1 items, use substitutes, etc.
In His own words (Viktoras Kulvinskas)... "Eventually, vomiting became a daily practice. I fell into eating more and more cooked and junk food. The problem became more disabling, both physically and psychologically, for I was living a dual life. In public, I would give health talks and lifestyle consultations. In private, I was a junk food eater and bulimic. The hypocrisy of it all was destroying me from the inside out.
" - I could not of said it better myself. Bullseye.
thanks for that. i forgot he lived a dual lifestyle. is he done living that lifestyle? his energy bothers me (we sat next to him at living light) and there is something "off" that i have not been able to pinpoint. i wonder if he does live a dual lifestyle still? just curious and this is just personal, i have nothing against those who use him as a role model :) my personal intuition says no way!
I have spoke with him on email a couple times. He says he is over it and used blue green algae to help in his healing process. He has been a sweet man over email. I do not know him personally though but more power to him for doing whatever it took to get abstinent. Relapse is a part of recovery so really there is no perfect recovery. Not sure where he is at the moment, last I know he was traveling for lectures.
thanks for subbing :) we have a video on water that should help you decide which one to drink. we recommend distilled or reverse osmosis or spring water. juice is fine (unpastuerized) but there is no necessity that the body needs anything besides juice or water. most of our hydration comes from fruit and veggies. the other "stuff" out there is just to excite the taste buds, but have nothing to do with health or body needs :) thanks!
What are your thoughts on V8 drinks? I sometimes get V8 Fusion but i noticed it doesn't use green vegetables but carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes unlike the pure vegetable blend
All juices in V8 are pasteurized. and they also add salt (or at least used to!). very toxic over time. but if people are transitioning or have absolutely NO way to make fresh juice, it is fine. but once juice is pasteurized (heated) it has very little nutrients left and also the sugars go straight to the blood stream like refined sugars do. so go light on the V8 and reach for some raw juice or water :)
whole stevia leaves are completely safe and delicious and a WONDERFUL sweetener. refined stevia (like the white steiva powers might not be best for the body). but eat up that stevia you are growing. very good stuff.
there is a soda called "zevia". its all natual, flavored with stevia. calorie free as well. i get it at our local major grocery and can also get it at our food co-op. they have lemon lime, orange, root beer and a few others. the root beer is awesome and the others are lighter flavors but good if youre craving a pop!
this is good to know, but i imagine whatever flavorings and juices they use as a base are concentrated and also pasteurized. so there are no nutrients left in them. also "natural flavors" can include a whole list of toxic elements, but i will go into that another day in another video...phew! anyway, thanks for the heads up. sounds better than regualr soda but not the best for optimal health... :)
Great video, thank you for taking on another topic request. You rock Julie. I really appreciate that you listen to your viewer's requests and needs and then deliver far more than expected. I really wanted this topic because I come across a lot of dieters who LIVE on diet soda and think it's healthier to watch calories than quality... And I will be honest myself that in bulimia I deal major with pop addiction. It doesn't stay in but still - addiction is addiction. A lot of people are addicted -
to pop... using and abusing. I have recommended people try kombucha while they are trying to get off... raw kombucha for those who really need something to replace it. I have a friend dealing with this issue who I will send this video too. This is an exceptional video. Water! green juices! thank you!
thanks for passing along the video... yes, kombucha is a wonderful transitional thing, and if it is too sour for people, they can add some agave or honey if absolutely needed. but best not :) thanks!
you are very welcome... we love doing videos that people request! thanks for the patience on this video. :) so, you currently still battle with soda? or you used to? just curious cuz i thought you were all raw, but maybe you meant before.
I do not include the struggle with bulimia any part, shape or form of my actual diet. One stays in and the other goes out - fast - before digestion or absorption would take place to be quite honest. It's all strategically planned but not a good focus to talk about as it just welcomes that energy still in my life and I am working to change things. Bulimic diet = outrageous (yes soda included) ... Regular diet = raw, organic, local, seasonal, vegan (raw 6 years now this spring)...
(another reason I don't discuss the depths of bulimia public is because I do not want others dealing with this to get tips so they can lose weight and remain emeciated with health problems, not good - I have spoke with numerous professionals about how I operate during bulimic binges/behaviors in conjunction with strategic planning around physiology and all have validated that the chance of any of it digesting is SLIM TO NONE... trust me if it was digesting I'd know and it would show, big time.)
oh, okay, thanks for sharing. i understand why you do not publicly go into this a lot, if you need to delete the comments, its' okay. i was just wondering, as i thought your only diet (that stayed in or not) was all raw vegan, so thank you for clearing that up. no worries, no judgement here, just needed clarification. :) okay, so on to more positive things! hope this video helps... soda is the one thing sarah and i have had no trouble ditching. we could drink one a year or not at all and b fine
Thanks for the care dear. One thing I want to point out is that NO ONE dealing with EDS is going to have a clean diet, not even the most highest raw foodist. Let's take Victorias for example. He went on ABC with me to talk about orthorexia right. Well, as high as raw and vegan he was he admitting to living a double life of bulimia - like how I have been (raw diet/bulimic diet) and it just goes to show that even the Father of Raw Food (He is known as this) falls. No one is perfect, no diet is -
either so expect CRAP on a lifestyle, diet, way of living and coping mechanism that is CRAP. Crap to crap. There are many reasons why I want to give this up, the hypocrisy of the dietary wars is one of them, as is the crap aspect, disrespect to God, mind and body... deterioration of health... death call... you name it. The list goes on and on. My Mom once said to me, don't let the ed get into your raw food or you will have NOTHING to look forward to... which is why I keep it SEPERATE.
and don't go making wild binges consisting of all my raw vegan meals. Food though is the drug of choice and I have been dealing with this for so long so the fact that it doesn't stay in have given permission to continue these behaviors and food choices. If they were digesting and absorbing they would not even be an inch close to my hand or mouth. It's a pretty messed up situation that is and has been in the process of cleaning up. One day at a time my friend. Thanks for the support.
thanks for that, johnny... makes a lot of sense and i completely understand. yes, even the rawest of raw people have slip-ups whether concsious or not. matt claims to be 100% raw vegan and then we saw him try deer antler velvet extract. and i am sure all the braggs aminos, etc..he eats when at restaurants, etc... is not raw, so we must be gentle and realize MOST people are not raw (except maybe the hardcore 80 10 10 folks... ha ha love you, johnny!
What on earth is velvet extract? sounds odd next to deer antler LOL I seperate myself from the addiction, therefore I consider myself raw as I am not the addiction. What stays in is what matters to me and that's raw vegan. What goes in can easily come out (see why I don't want to talk about this public, it sounds very promoting to EDs and I don't want that but am trying to explain my point of view here). Anyhow, is any human pure? raw or not. No, not in my opinion... no such thing right!
Deer antler velvet is exactly like what it sounds, it is the velvet soft stuff that grows on their antlers as they move into a new growth/stage of life. they generally rub this velvet off as they scratch their antlers, etc... people are humanely and lovingly collecting it from farmed (they have LOTS of land) deer for its levels of chemicals that help humans release human growth hormone. it is used for ani-aging, lack of sex drive, muscle growth and all things associated with human growth horm...
... cont'd... hormone should have been that last word there. while they have managed to humanely take the velvet, i do not suport this. humans do not need to be going around eating deer antler velvet. the body is smart. if people are fatigued, or have no muscles, or have no sex drive, lets look at where that is coming from, not take extra hgh. it is ridiculous to me, but that is jsut my opinion. also, farmed deer, no matter how much land they have, are not natural deer in nature. let them b!
As for the hardcore 80 10 10, most have a history of eds... Harley admitted in an interview last month to having had anorexia... Freelea has admitted to food issues as well... I am honestly under the impression that every person has dealt with or will deal with atleast some form of an eating disorder - eating cooked and junk food alone is an ED in my opinion... Okay better wrap this one up before it gets too lengthy and intense
yes, i think in modern day america most people have some sort or have had some sort of ED due to the combination of addictive foods availabel and also the pressures to be sexy and thin and perfect, etc... you are right on there. we jsut have varying levels of those ED's that disengage us from our lives to different degrees. from very extreme to the aveerage joe who just tries to do the atkins diet cuz they dont want to be fat anymore. i do find that most 80-10-10 people have a ...
...cont'd... greater level of purity, as they use no seasonings, mask flavors, etc.. so they tend to truly be 100% raw and also seem to have a greater and deeper healing from past issues with emotional eating, ED, etc... they tend to be very fit, healthy, exercise like crazy, find the deepest and most sacred part of themselves, etc... i know some had ED's but then seem to truly move beyond it...
*hugs* Thanks for explaining the antler stuff (oh my... wow...) and also being honest about your journey with raw and different variations. I look forward to watching videos on how 811 is going for you. I am glad we can wrap up this binge/purge topic as I am feeling an incredible about of shame this morning (just being honest) for admitting all that public but guess what? truth is truth and I wasn't going to lie. It's just not something I go around boasting about. I am praying over this, hard.
hey johnny- don't give that shame emotion even another minute. there is more bravery in telling the truth than siting in the drive thru with a burger and telling no one, trust me we have all been there, me included. so yeah, we can wrap it up, just wanted to tell you we have nothing to be ashamed of in life. chin up, we are all in this together! you are perfect in all that you are right now. hugs...
i really needed to hear that. my day went really crummy due to self loathing, blame and disappointment due to the reality of everything and exposure. it was all my choice though and we must feel uncomfort in recovery, it helps wake people up. so i must be grateful, pick up the pieces and move on. i will rest tonight and go to the Bible for guidance, and prayer of course...tomorrow is total relaxation/me day: facial, full body massage and acupuncture so that is very promising! amen! love you dear
Perfect timing on this video! I was just talking to someone about diet sodas and how I had read that drinking one a day can actually give a person diabetes and thanks to your video I now know why. Next, do one about coffee?!
thank you so much for the suggestion! i LOVE coffee, so would very much like to do a video on that. we have a bunch of videos recorded that will be posted soon, so coffee should be in a few weeks. it is on my list! thanks! :) soda=poop ha ha
interesting, I was just talking to my 10 year old about this, even though she doesn't drink it except a little at her dads, but I was telling her about all the salt they use to get you to drink more and cover up the salt with sugar, and diet soda, don't even get me started on that!!
maybe you could show your 10 year old this video :) it's amazing what kids understand! glad you are communicating with her about this :) thanks for the comment!
One thing that I think is often over looked is the aspartame that is found in chewing gum. My girlfriend gets migraines and when she has these attacks I find that she's chewing artificially sweetened Aspergarbage gum.
We can eat as healthy as we want but we are only as strong as the weakest link in our diet. If we're putting aspartame in our system by chewing gum it will negate much of the positive benefits of the rest of our health regime.
yes, absolutely. this is stated perfectly. gum should not be chewed, but if one must, opt for the natural stuff sweetened with xylitol at the health food store :)
wow now im really glad i pledged to drink nothing but water for the next year. no diet pop, milk, tea or coffee. ty for this info. im gonna do a drink video with a bang soon. waves~~~

What is safe to drink? Even tap water has chemicals and fluoride in it. Any suggestions besides juice. Great videos. I subbed! 5 stars.
LoneRaven01 2 years ago
thanks for subbing :) we have a video on water that should help you decide which one to drink. we recommend distilled or reverse osmosis or spring water. juice is fine (unpastuerized) but there is no necessity that the body needs anything besides juice or water. most of our hydration comes from fruit and veggies. the other "stuff" out there is just to excite the taste buds, but have nothing to do with health or body needs :) thanks!

What are your thoughts on V8 drinks? I sometimes get V8 Fusion but i noticed it doesn't use green vegetables but carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes unlike the pure vegetable blend
evj86 2 years ago
All juices in V8 are pasteurized. and they also add salt (or at least used to!). very toxic over time. but if people are transitioning or have absolutely NO way to make fresh juice, it is fine. but once juice is pasteurized (heated) it has very little nutrients left and also the sugars go straight to the blood stream like refined sugars do. so go light on the V8 and reach for some raw juice or water :)

woe ! 30 -250 is crazy to water down 1 soda.
thank you for this info. i'm growing stevia, and wonder if it may have a similar reaction .
NWforager 2 years ago
whole stevia leaves are completely safe and delicious and a WONDERFUL sweetener. refined stevia (like the white steiva powers might not be best for the body). but eat up that stevia you are growing. very good stuff.

enjoyed the vid, had to give up all soda (due to surgery) May 2009..
i drink herbal tea, water with lemon and cucumber/or mint, i still love the occasional unsweet tea for some caffeine.
great channel!
saphre1964 2 years ago
sounds like you are doing great with what you drink. lemon and herbs are wonderful for charging purified water with some life :) thanks!

there is a soda called "zevia". its all natual, flavored with stevia. calorie free as well. i get it at our local major grocery and can also get it at our food co-op. they have lemon lime, orange, root beer and a few others. the root beer is awesome and the others are lighter flavors but good if youre craving a pop!
rannee86 2 years ago
this is good to know, but i imagine whatever flavorings and juices they use as a base are concentrated and also pasteurized. so there are no nutrients left in them. also "natural flavors" can include a whole list of toxic elements, but i will go into that another day in another video...phew! anyway, thanks for the heads up. sounds better than regualr soda but not the best for optimal health...

A lot of people are addicted -
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
to pop... using and abusing. I have recommended people try kombucha while they are trying to get off... raw kombucha for those who really need something to replace it. I have a friend dealing with this issue who I will send this video too. This is an exceptional video. Water! green juices! thank you!
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
thanks for passing along the video... yes, kombucha is a wonderful transitional thing, and if it is too sour for people, they can add some agave or honey if absolutely needed. but best not :) thanks!
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
you are very welcome... we love doing videos that people request! thanks for the patience on this video. :) so, you currently still battle with soda? or you used to? just curious cuz i thought you were all raw, but maybe you meant before.
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
I do not include the struggle with bulimia any part, shape or form of my actual diet. One stays in and the other goes out - fast - before digestion or absorption would take place to be quite honest. It's all strategically planned but not a good focus to talk about as it just welcomes that energy still in my life and I am working to change things. Bulimic diet = outrageous (yes soda included) ... Regular diet = raw, organic, local, seasonal, vegan (raw 6 years now this spring)...
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
(another reason I don't discuss the depths of bulimia public is because I do not want others dealing with this to get tips so they can lose weight and remain emeciated with health problems, not good - I have spoke with numerous professionals about how I operate during bulimic binges/behaviors in conjunction with strategic planning around physiology and all have validated that the chance of any of it digesting is SLIM TO NONE... trust me if it was digesting I'd know and it would show, big time.)
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
oh, okay, thanks for sharing. i understand why you do not publicly go into this a lot, if you need to delete the comments, its' okay. i was just wondering, as i thought your only diet (that stayed in or not) was all raw vegan, so thank you for clearing that up. no worries, no judgement here, just needed clarification. :) okay, so on to more positive things! hope this video helps... soda is the one thing sarah and i have had no trouble ditching. we could drink one a year or not at all and b fine
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
Thanks for the care dear. One thing I want to point out is that NO ONE dealing with EDS is going to have a clean diet, not even the most highest raw foodist. Let's take Victorias for example. He went on ABC with me to talk about orthorexia right. Well, as high as raw and vegan he was he admitting to living a double life of bulimia - like how I have been (raw diet/bulimic diet) and it just goes to show that even the Father of Raw Food (He is known as this) falls. No one is perfect, no diet is -
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
either so expect CRAP on a lifestyle, diet, way of living and coping mechanism that is CRAP.
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
and don't go making wild binges consisting of all my raw vegan meals.
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
thanks for that, johnny... makes a lot of sense and i completely understand. yes, even the rawest of raw people have slip-ups whether concsious or not. matt claims to be 100% raw vegan and then we saw him try deer antler velvet extract. and i am sure all the braggs aminos, etc..he eats when at restaurants, etc... is not raw, so we must be gentle and realize MOST people are not raw (except maybe the hardcore 80 10 10 folks... ha ha love you, johnny!
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
What on earth is velvet extract? sounds odd next to deer antler LOL I seperate myself from the addiction, therefore I consider myself raw as I am not the addiction. What stays in is what matters to me and that's raw vegan. What goes in can easily come out (see why I don't want to talk about this public, it sounds very promoting to EDs and I don't want that but am trying to explain my point of view here). Anyhow, is any human pure? raw or not. No, not in my opinion... no such thing right!
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
Deer antler velvet is exactly like what it sounds, it is the velvet soft stuff that grows on their antlers as they move into a new growth/stage of life. they generally rub this velvet off as they scratch their antlers, etc... people are humanely and lovingly collecting it from farmed (they have LOTS of land) deer for its levels of chemicals that help humans release human growth hormone. it is used for ani-aging, lack of sex drive, muscle growth and all things associated with human growth horm...
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
... cont'd... hormone should have been that last word there. while they have managed to humanely take the velvet, i do not suport this. humans do not need to be going around eating deer antler velvet. the body is smart. if people are fatigued, or have no muscles, or have no sex drive, lets look at where that is coming from, not take extra hgh. it is ridiculous to me, but that is jsut my opinion. also, farmed deer, no matter how much land they have, are not natural deer in nature. let them b!
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
As for the hardcore 80 10 10, most have a history of eds... Harley admitted in an interview last month to having had anorexia... Freelea has admitted to food issues as well... I am honestly under the impression that every person has dealt with or will deal with atleast some form of an eating disorder - eating cooked and junk food alone is an ED in my opinion... Okay better wrap this one up before it gets too lengthy and intense
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
yes, i think in modern day america most people have some sort or have had some sort of ED due to the combination of addictive foods availabel and also the pressures to be sexy and thin and perfect, etc... you are right on there. we jsut have varying levels of those ED's that disengage us from our lives to different degrees. from very extreme to the aveerage joe who just tries to do the atkins diet cuz they dont want to be fat anymore. i do find that most 80-10-10 people have a ...
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
...cont'd... greater level of purity, as they use no seasonings, mask flavors, etc.. so they tend to truly be 100% raw and also seem to have a greater and deeper healing from past issues with emotional eating, ED, etc... they tend to be very fit, healthy, exercise like crazy, find the deepest and most sacred part of themselves, etc... i know some had ED's but then seem to truly move beyond it...
RawHealingPatch 2 years ago
*hugs* Thanks for explaining the antler stuff (oh my... wow...) and also being honest about your journey with raw and different variations. I look forward to watching videos on how 811 is going for you. I am glad we can wrap up this binge/purge topic as I am feeling an incredible about of shame this morning (just being honest) for admitting all that public but guess what? truth is truth and I wasn't going to lie. It's just not something I go around boasting about. I am praying over this, hard.
MyOwnStickFigure 2 years ago
hey johnny- don't give that shame emotion even another minute. there is more bravery in telling the truth than siting in the drive thru with a burger and telling no one, trust me we have all been there, me included. so yeah, we can wrap it up, just wanted to tell you we have nothing to be ashamed of in life. chin up, we are all in this together! you are perfect in all that you are right now. hugs...

i really needed to hear that. my day went really crummy due to self loathing, blame and disappointment due to the reality of everything and exposure. it was all my choice though and we must feel uncomfort in recovery, it helps wake people up. so i must be grateful, pick up the pieces and move on. i will rest tonight and go to the Bible for guidance, and prayer of course...tomorrow is total relaxation/me day: facial, full body massage and acupuncture so that is very promising! amen! love you dear

Perfect timing on this video! I was just talking to someone about diet sodas and how I had read that drinking one a day can actually give a person diabetes and thanks to your video I now know why. Next, do one about coffee?!
KimberleeMelissa 2 years ago
thank you so much for the suggestion! i LOVE coffee, so would very much like to do a video on that. we have a bunch of videos recorded that will be posted soon, so coffee should be in a few weeks. it is on my list! thanks! :) soda=poop ha ha

interesting, I was just talking to my 10 year old about this, even though she doesn't drink it except a little at her dads, but I was telling her about all the salt they use to get you to drink more and cover up the salt with sugar, and diet soda, don't even get me started on that!!
lovemerawTV 2 years ago
maybe you could show your 10 year old this video :) it's amazing what kids understand! glad you are communicating with her about this :) thanks for the comment!

If we're putting aspartame in our system by chewing gum it will negate much of the positive benefits of the rest of our health regime.
craigelliottmusic 2 years ago
yes, absolutely. this is stated perfectly. gum should not be chewed, but if one must, opt for the natural stuff sweetened with xylitol at the health food store :)
