You have to hand it to them, they finally did it, capturing the mighty WurliTzer with modern electronic means. Asides from my own style, I happen to like the "British Bounce" organ playing. Regards to all my fans.
Did you have the MIDI put in your accordion or did you do it yourself? I have thought about doing that to my Titano Stroller. Does it effect the way the keyboard feels?
@ChucklesKeys the MIDI was fitted by a freind , because this is a "no reeds" accordion, ( no pallet arms to move ) the action is remarkably fast & light

This is the ultimate!!! I even prefer seeing the TOIAB played on an accordion than an organ. It makes this piece of kit seem even more amazing....Expertly demonstrated too. Thanks for sharing with us!
ccertainly is.. i been to reg`s seminars twice now and counting down to the next one. he certainly makes this talk. even though the sounds we hear are excellent im sure reg would agree they have really inproved since this was made.. cheers reg
As an organist and accordianist, can Reg tell me why there is no expression action in this? there is audibly but not visually. I mena there is no squeeze action in the accordian. Does the TOIAB stuff do this too, once pre-programmed? WONDERFUL STUFF REG!!!!!!!!!!
Someone told me about this TOIAB a few months ago. I forgot about it. Just now stumbled across this by accident. Truly Awesome. I must have one also. Check out my music videos here on youtube. Rudy Rosa. I play multi keyboards and have played the accordian since I was 5. Reg is an excellant accordianist. There are very few of us left that actually know how to play the bass, and Reg never missed a note. Thanks. Rudy
I have had my TOIAB for a little over a year. Play it with my MIDI accordion here in Michigan, USA. I am also an organist electronic and pipe. This TOIAB really is amazing. The package is complete and very easy to get it up an running. Had to get a new Roland sampler module to use it so using my old Roland in tandem. The Roland is also an amazing midi...best sampler I have seen thus far. Haven't had any negative issues with either.
Thanks REG for an awesome addition to my music "tool box".
After seeing this clip for the first time yesterday and being totally amazed I have now ordered the TOIAB and card. Reg is a really helpfull and nice chap to talk to and I can't wait for it to arrive. Keep up the good work Reg and post some more vids soon.
Every time I see this vid I drool like a fat girl in a cake shop I gotta have one ! It's Uncomprehendable a wurlItzer organ omn an accordion This Box Rox !
God help us, I though my midi setup with midi accordion and synths was good, but the sound of this box and the style of playing is TOP class. Please send me info on the setup. Regards Kenny
hiya there.. i bought the box of reg a couple of months back.. yeah he will send one on to you if you want one. some amazing sounds on this i will post some more clips .. cheers tony..
Awesome! What rich theatre organ sounds! I play an Iorio Syntara Accorgan with a Ketron X4, but as good as it is I can't imagine it sounding like that! Your music is brilliant!
As a 76-year-old former Cordovox player and current Roland V-Accordionist, I was born 30 years and $30,000 too soon! The "pipes" have always been my favorite sound. Absolutely beautiful sound and articulation.
This is wonderful! I am a MIDI concert accordionist in Michigan, USA. I also am an organist and used to play Wurlitzer Theater pipe organs when I lived in San Francisco. I have an electronic theatre organ in my house but of course not too portable;-) You have inspired me to add some theater organ samples to my MIDI myself. I see that the samples are by Total Transformation Technology. How would I contact them if I wanted to purchase those samples?
After seeing this video and contacting Reg I decided to buy the samples and also bought the Roland sampler.Wow...is it awesome. I use it on my MIDI accordion and wil gradually add MIDI capability to my theater electronic organ (Hammond Regency II). Thanks Reg for an incredible musical tool.
This guy ROCKS...You go guy! One of the best all-in-one systems I've ever heard. Reminds me of... By the way, this instrument has a lot of those miditzer users really pissed off.
Is this by any chance THE Dick Liebert? I'm referring to "Liebert Takes Richmond" w/ In the Still of the Night, etc. It has been a LONG time. (The man I refer to is an extraordinary theater organist probably from the 1950's.)
The posting order makes my Liebert inquiry look confusing. I'm "replying" to a post that's near the bottom of this list, a year ago from MAR 2010. To include a bit of TOIAB content, I am about equally impressed with the Roland programing and his ability to produce a fairly accurate sounding TPO playing style on that squeeze box.
To continue from below: While some would perhaps find fault in having all of the patches already set up with stops of Reg's choosing, as an old keyboard player and a NEW theater organist, I would love to have those tried and true combinations available. I use MidiTzer, an excellent and inexpensive alternative, BUT I have not yet gotten as good a sound as the TOIAB card produces, possibly only due to my inexperience at registration. Excellent product.
Absolutely awesome! Just about every sound I ever heard coming from a WurliTzer and all out of an accordion. Great playing too and a lovely pair of medleys, I`ll be back.
Man, I'd love to have one of those! I used to have a nice 120 bass accordion when I was young. Wish I'd have never sold it :(. I notice there is no working of the bellows on yours. I'm assuming it's full MIDI?
Hello Reg--Lee & Stan in Tampa, Florida USA--Congratulations on a great performance demo of your TOIAB--As you know, we are proud owners of your wonderful WurliTzer TOIAB software, and enjoy it every day--It is so nice to have a "WurliTzer" in our music room--Your software is superb and reasonably priced--By the way, do you call your accordion a "Wurlyordion" or an AccordoliTzer"?--Cheers--Lee & Stan
Wonderful playing Reg, quality sounds & playing, just love your rendition of Misty & other slow numbers, I know you love to play with tempo, but your just as good playing a slower selection. Pleased you have got your samples sorted, you use them to perfection, well done Reg, please post more for us all to enjoy! John, former Pipes for Pleasure presenter, Halifax, U.K.
Apart from showing great technique Reg, what a brilliant demonstration of the technology available today and what a lot of space it saves too! Brilliant! Do some more.
I remember it well Reg. Sounds great. I bet many people will be amazed that an accordion could ever produce sounds like the famous Blackpool Wurlitzer... Spot on.

@ChucklesKeys
Hi, i refurbished it myself from an old transicord electronic accordion
from around 1968, took all original electronics out & fitted MIDI
then painted it white and put gold ornamentaion on, labour of love !

The way you sustain chords while simultaneously playing melody all with right hand, you don't need a second keyboard manual. Most impressive.
